This is an absolute classic. Steve McQueen in one of the outstanding performances of his career. Includes the famous, long, car chase sequence which McQueen performed himself. Transfer looks pretty good, the only issue is the sound which at times can be uneven.

And great action and cars chases as well . I love this classic . I was year old when it came out and I saw when I was a teenager. Of course back in the day it was on commercial television that botched the editing for tv. Blu Ray shows great and the sound is awesome.

This is my Mc Queen favorite movie , he did the driving in it and most of all his own stunts. Something today’s stars do not. Today’s so called stars nothing more than overpaid crybabies. Watch this , and SEE how a real actor does it !!!

If you like good car movies with a lot of car chases that shows of incredible skilled driving, check out this movie. If you like Steve McQueen or have never heard of him, this is a good choice to see him at what he did so well. This move really set the standard of what a good car scene should be.

Even after 50 years...one of the best action thrillers of all time. McQueen's Frank Bullitt tough as nails cop (lieutenant), same mold as Eastwood's tough as nails Harry Callaghan. Arguably the best car chase filming ever for a movie.

One of the with the King of Cool. One of the best car chases ever filmed, especially when you consider that today's special effects weren't available. It was all driving skill. Even more fun to watch when you know that Bullitt's mustang was found in 2017 and is being restored.

Although Steve McQueen had many great movies, BULLITT is a classic because of the car chase scene in the movie. No other movie has the thrill of the Mustang and the Charger racing thru the streets of San Francisco. In addition, the movie plot is excellent!

Blu-Ray copies of film classics are a paradox; taking 50-year-old film frames and audio tracks, and digitizing them to HD will reveal the limitation of the original image and recording equipment. Fortunately, Bullitt is a film that has much more to offer in terms of plot and action, such that digital quality limitations become secondary. This particular Blu-Ray has limited bonus features, and a clumsy navigation home screen. But for the price, purchasing a copy is easy to justify.

I remember seeing this movie when I was growing up. The can chase scenes made me feel like I was riding a roller coaster and I have never wanted to drive in San Francisco ever. This is a good example of how great movi=es can be made without CGI, etc.

Classic Steve McQueen. This flick has one of the greatest chase scenes in cinema, and it isn't digitally. enhanced. If you like action, minimal dialogue, this is one for you. Of course the scenery - San Francisco, Jacqueline Bisset - only adds to the greatness of this movie.

I first saw Bullitt in 1968, and I wanted the Mustang and the Charger. Great movie that still holds up to this day. I've owned it on VHS and DVD, but the Blu-ray version is by far the best. Sound could be better, but oh, that car chase in HD...

The classic police movie starring Steve McQueen is one of his best movies. It delves deep into the head of a policeman as he fights to find a killer and political corruption. This movie has a the greatest car chase scene ever recorded on a movie.

From character development to climax, excellent. Photography was wonderful. Showcased San Francisco at its best. Story was consistent and had an easy flow. Shows concern and dedication of detective even though harassed by the "system".

Besides killer Robot's this movies has a little bit of everything! Fast cars, murder, a crooked big wig, a twist in the plot and a Killer airpot scene! This is a good movie for a Wednesday night with a little chicken noodle soup and cold brew.

The chase scene is still fascinating. The extra features were very interesting. It was fun seeing Steve McQueen drinking a glass of milk with his meal while visiting the hospital. Neat that they used real doctors to strive for more realism.

Bullitt is a classic staring the king of cool Steve McQueen. Of course who cannot forget the great car chase (Charger vs Mustang). The Special Features go into detail in the shooting of the car chase sequence. Just a great movie from 1968.

The Ford Mustang chase here is a classic. Never get tired of watching it. No digital special effects, all driving and stunts look real. Good plot goes along with it.

If you have been on Mars, perhaps you haven't seen this movie. It is still known as the most fantastic 10 minute car chase in movie history. Read up on Bill Hickman, the stunt driver, you will be very impressed.
