Not happy with GE Cafe refrigerator

Second replacement came and handles fell off hitting 2 people in the head. GE is sending someone to repair it but they will not replace it. I paid 3600 for it and expected quality not what i received. It is nice to look at though!

All the research we did, we wanted something of quality and the cafe fridge didn’t disappoint.

The second refrigerator we received, had some quality issues that we didn't expect. The vents on the sides were loose and cheap thin plastic pieces, there was a scratch on the water dispenser tray, the upper drawer in the freezer had features for a divider but none was provided (apparently doesn't exist either), tape residue was all over the unit inside and out that I had to clean off, and the Manufacturer installed the plastic protective film on during the build so that when you pulled it off, it tore into pieces leaving tiny pieces that had to be picked out 1 by 1. Took me hours to remove most of it and I am still at it 2 weeks later. This is a top of the line unit but is manufactured as if it is bottom of the line. Look at another brand, stay away. Read other reviews and you will see the compressor is a big issue for this Company.

The most effective way to remove adhesive left from protecting film on your fridge and ensure no damage is done to the finish is to apply one of the following: Household Liquid Dishwashing Detergent; Mineral Oil; Cooking Oil; Goo Gone®. We would like to gather some more details about the vents on the side your unit. Can one “love” a refrigerator?

I seems to have more internal room than the same size GE refrigerator I replaced. The freezer drawer is better organized so to access the products that in that part of the refrigerator. The internal light system works perfectly. I originally thought it was a little under lighted but it is not under lighted at all, I am completely happy with this unit and am extremely happy that I purchased it.
