I don’t usually write reviews, but this refrigerator deserves a standing ovation. From the moment it was delivered and plugged in, it’s been nothing short of a kitchen MVP. The freezer? An absolute frost-free dream. Design & Space: Sleek and Smart The layout is incredibly intuitive. So far, this is the best refrigerator we’ve had in 40 years. Easy to get things in and out, flexible shelving, handy cold water pitcher (less convenient than in-door, but no splashing and no chance of water line freezing), and thoughtful divisions in the freezer. Fits exactly in a 36-inch wide opening, but they had to take the doors off to fit it through the front door. Shelves are deep enough for 9x13-inch casserole dish extended front to back, main shelf in door is wide enough for two gallon-sized containers, freezer drawers sized to hold boxed frozen pizza (Tombstone, Red Baron, etc.). So far, we have not seen the frost build up in the ice tray that we saw with the in-door ice maker/crusher we used to have. Full wall of lighting makes it easy to find things. No badging on the exterior, except for discrete “cafe” wrapped on the freezer handle, means it matches all of our other appliances. We bought it during the Black Friday sales, which brought the price down into the range of the cheaper lines of appliances.

This is an awesome fridge. It has a classy look with not ice or water in the door, but still has water in the door. Its just inside the door. It is also very convenient, because you can take it out and pour water, rather than holding your glass under the spout. The ice maker also makes a lot more ice, much more quickly and reliably. Ice makers in the door always come up short. I love the led panel in the back of the unit. The dark interior with the bright lighting is a very high end effect. The 5 year sealed refrigeration warranty gives great piece of mind as well.

I love my new refrigerator, I debated between this one and the reg GE one; with the cafe refrigerator, the shelves were more sturdy and spacious. There also three shelves in the freezer which helps to organize and maximize space. I love that the deli drawer can also be switched to a freezer if necessary. I also love the in-fridge water dispenser, you can use it as a pitcher or dispense and it only takes a minute to refill and it’s always cold. Such a great purchase!

This is the best refrigerator I have ever owned. It’s large enough and shows you every item in it. The built-in self refilling water pitcher/dispenser is great, and the flex drawer is terrific, freezer or chiller. The three-drawer freezer lets you find stuff without having things get buried. And it’s quiet. A great item.

The best appliance purchase I made in over a decade! I've had several other different brands, but the GE Cafe French Door Refrigerator is the best. After replacing this with another brand with 27 cu. ft., I can't get over how much more room I have for food and storage. The small drawer has the benefit of being used for produce storage or it can be used as a freezer. The auto fill pitcher doesn't take up much space. Ice in the freezer compartment is easy to get at so we don't miss the ice and water dispenser on the outside.

Best purchase we have ever made! Lots of space, great temperature control for each area, and the filter for the water is pretty good - we actually drink the refrigerator water now! Ice area is kept cooold so the cubes never stick together. The only negative is the so-called SMART nature of the appliance. No real functionality enhanced by the wifi, it just seems to be another avenue to violate your network privacy, like a lot of things now adays. Just a note - its pretty wide so measure your entry door.

I recently purchased a Cafe refrigerator through Best Buy to replace an older refrigerator. This is the best refrigerator I have ever had. The refrigerator is roomy and I have plenty of space for all of my food and beverages. The chiller drawer is a nice addition as you can store snacks, beverages, and other items at just the right temperature. There is a high quality filter that comes pre-installed in the refrigerator which filters out a lot of water contaminates. The filtered water in the water dispenser tastes great. I also like the sleek design of Cafe refrigerators. The Cafe brand of refrigerators is definitely the luxury brand of GE. If you want an affordable refrigerator with all the benefits of a high-end refrigerator, then this offering will fit your needs. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Was looking for a different brand but the Best Buy I went to didn't have it in the system compared to the Best Buy website. While our salesman was looking for it, my wife was drawn to this model of the Cafe display, after looking at it she said she wanted it and we placed the order for the bigger size. Once it was installed it was easy to set up, it runs very quiet, the water filtration system (filter) has better then bottled water. The room was perfect. The placement of the water is inside the fridge door, and it has a removable picture which makes it perfect for cooking. The Ice maker is located it the freezer section and easy to get to. After having this for over 3 months now, I believe it the best Fridge we've had in out 30 year marriage. I strongly recommend this fridge I give 5 out of 5 STARS

My wife absolutely loves this refrigerator. It’s spacious and yet it’s still easy to reach every thing. For me it keeps the food cold and isn’t loud. I do like that it beeps when the kids have the door open for long periods of time.

Hands down the best fridge we've ever owned. We absolutely love it! There is plenty of room, and haveing the autofill water pitcher on the inside has been so nice to have. Easy to clean, easy to just grab out and use, easy for the kids to fill their waters whenever they need to and just having water available at all times has been a game changer. Especially during cooking. The kiddos have their own snack drawer or I have my wine drawer, ready to drink, nice and chilled. The freezer may look small, but you can pack a lot in there!! Hands down, get this fridge! You won't regret it! It will make your life so much simpler.

This is the best refrigerator I have owned. The temperature is very consistent and food lasts longer (my previous refrigerator would "freeze" food stored at the back). The freezer has more useable space than I expected. The middle drawer can be set for various temperatures including from 42F down to 23F! The inside lighting is easy on the eyes - in addition to the regular lighting, the back wall is back-lit. As you open the door, the light slowly brightens.

This refrigerator uses space wisely. The shelves in the doors are sturdy, visibility is excellent with the back wall lights. The third drawer can be used as a soft freezer, refrigerator or chiller! I was hesitant about the autofill water pitcher but after using quickly embraced the new technology.

Beautiful piece, love the high end feel and the large capacity of the refrigerator. The chill section is an added bonus that i love. I hace no regrets on getting this refrigerator

Only the best looking Refrigerator from GE's Cafe' from not only top to bottom, but the inside very prestigious, its what sold me on it the most - WoW! Very convenient and lots of room and seperate cooling controls for middle 3rd door!

Love this fridge. Top is spacious. Love the vented veggie/fruit drawers. Really keeps things fresh. The middle drawer helps keep things organized and is quite versatile . The 3 drawer freezer is spacious. Fits big and small items. Ice drawer is perfect. My favorite is the self filling water pitcher on the inside of the French door. To top it all off it’s a great looking fridge.
