After 1 year, will not brew right

The coffee comes out weak looking like tea and I’ve tried many times which leads to wasting so much coffee. I wouldn’t recommend.

No good

After set up (followed direction exactly) kept saying add water even though it was filled then error 3 . Unplugged it started over same thing so back to the store it went

Do not buy - stick w tried n true

It spewed hot water all over my counter and the unit got EXTREMELY hot to touch. Additionally, it was clear this unit had been opened before.

Coffee not hot.

Not good

bad coffee

Gorgeous gift, even better coffee!!

She loved the packaging and said it looked fancy, but when she opened it the first comment was "it is really beautiful." I purchased the Stainless model. The coffee it makes is fantastic (I recommend the Gold Cup setting!), and it was super easy to setup. I know because my mother connected it to WiFi and she did it on her own in no time. She never even had to set the time on the coffee maker (the machine does it over wifi if you connect it) and was able to brew her first pot from the app (it's called SmartHQ, not Cafe - luckily the logo was on the box and the instructions were easy). My mother said the coffee was hot and showed me how she was able to change the brew temperature to lower it a few degrees. She LOVED this feature. All in all I think I look like a hero of a son and am getting all the marks on this gift. Seeing she loves it so much I may have to get one for my wife and I, but for our house I have my eyes on the Matte Black.

Poor Quality for the price I paid

High end smart coffee maker

As soon as you open the shipping box and see how the coffee maker is packaged you feel as if you are opening something high end. The brushed stainless steel and copper accents make this the most stunning coffee maker you can place on your counter. Gone are the days of the plastic coffee makers with glass carafes that would scorch your coffee The setup is as easy as washing the carafe and filter inserting the carbon filter and downloading the Smart HQ app onto your phone from the app store. Getting this coffee maker to connect to your Wi-Fi network does take some patience as it does take a few minutes to register the device to the cloud and activate it on the network. The Smart HQ app is very easy to use. Some may ask why you would need an app to manage a coffee maker however you are easily able to setup an auto brew schedule and change settings on the coffee maker through a beautiful app interface. The coffee maker is also compatible with Alexa and Google home. After using this coffee maker for a week I love that I can set a schedule to have coffee ready for all the coffee drinkers in the house so that we have one less thing to worry about in the morning This 10 cup coffee maker is gold cup certified and you can adjust the water temperature to make the optimal cup of coffee without the fear of burning the coffee as it sits in the carafe. The carafe stays cool to the touch however the coffee remains at the perfect temperature. I currently use a very high end single cup coffee maker that grinds the coffee per cup and I must say that this coffee maker is able to extract the perfect notes from the coffee. If you truly enjoy drinking coffee and want to brew the perfect cup then this is the drip coffee maker for you. From it's great looks to its even better performance you won't be dissapointed.

Returned to Best Buy and bought Ninja 10 cup supreme- it works amazing with many added features.

I never realized what I was missing!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Café coffee maker is a very nice upscale looking addition to our kitchen. It is constructed very well. The coffee pot is stainless inside and out with a copper handle. The buttons for options are clearly marked and the LED numbers and letters stand out great and are easy to see. When making coffee you can choose between multiple settings from light to bold brewing. The included screen mesh makes buying filters optional, but I would suggest getting them if you grind your own beans as I had residuals left in my cup. I never knew what I had been missing with all of my cheap coffee makers that have a small spot to spray hot water into the basket. This one uses a big shower head to ensure wide coverage for your brew and yes it makes a big difference. I believe my coffee has a better taste since it is brewing all of the grounds and not just a few in the center. I will admit I thought I did it wrong on my first brew. I followed the instructions and when it was done I touched a cold pot and the heating pad was cold too. So I started to pour it out. And to my surprise the coffee was steaming. The Café uses a new safety feature where the pot when on the maker stays hot for up to 2 hours. the kettle has a round disk in it that when contacted with the make keep it warm. thereby never having to worry about touching a hot pot or warmer. This is a very cool safety feature. The unit set up with the controls on the front. Time, Temp, Brew strength, number of cups etc. You can even use the Descale option to clean the internals. If you so choose you can also download their app and connected it to your Wi-Fi. This smart device will also work with Google and Alexa so you can tell it to brew!! I will mention this app is buggy and needs some work. it took about 10 minutes to get it going after multiple try's. the app kept telling me something was wrong but you are able to hit ok and it will still continue. I wont hold this against them since it will probably be updated very soon. (I used this on an Android). So if you are looking for a great coffee maker, look no further. this is is a very capable machine and looks great in your kitchen to boot. I would recommend this to friends and family.

We received the brushed stainless, and it looks gorgeous on our counter, sleek and modern. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot, even if it sits for awhile. It is much easier to fill the reservoir than our old coffee maker, and we can see at a glance how many cups it will make. We have only used the “gold” setting, because why use anything else? I LOVE coffee and I have NEVER had my coffee at home taste this amazing — this machine is fool proof. AND we haven’t tried it yet, but apparently, if we forget to set the Auto Brew, I can turn it on from bed via the app. Highly, highly recommend.

Coffee pot with cool feature

It looks so good sitting out on the counter. The settings make it easy to brew a pot of coffee to your liking. One of the coolest features is the integration with Alexa should you have any other Amazon smart devices in your home. Prep the maker the night before, then ask Alexa to brew you a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. Makes me feel like Tony Stark asking JARVIS to make a cup of coffee. So cool! The instructions could have been better. Looked on the bottom of the pot for a password to allow network features per the discussion. Took some intervention on the manufacture's part to let me know to look at the back and not the bottom of the unit. Top notch customer service, and probably something I should have found if I were paying better attention.
