By far the best game to hit the PS3 so far. Outstanding graphics, great control and a large and in your face online experience. If this is the direction the PS3 is going I finnaly feel a little better about shelling out for the $699 price tag. If you like easy to learn first person shotters with a large varity of gameplay options COD4 is a must have for the holiday season.

This game is the best i have seen yet for the PS3 as far as graphics goes. There are multiple weapons in the game and the night vision is really good compared to other games. One of the best so far. The only downfall is that I beat the game in 2-3 days playing a few hours a day after work. Fun game though. Flanking is good too and I love the storyline. Worth the price.

I LOVE THE GAME!! The online mode is the best.!!. the only problem is that once im in the online mode i put find game the playlist never comes on i is always saying "downloading games settings" i have to be going back and forth until it comes out... does somone know how to fix that?!? other than that the next war game im buying is cod5. cod4 makes other games suck!

This is the best game I have ever played. When I played this on my friend's PS3 I became sooo addicted to the game that I had to have it. Of course I had to buy the PS3 to play it on (cause I don't want an Xbox 360). I will never regret buying this game or buying a PS3 just to play it. Seriously, the best game made to date! If you have a PS3 this game is a MUST!

Has got to be the best video game out on the PS3! Unbelievable replay value, great graphics, sound, story line. Was not dissapointed at all. This game was the reason I got back into video games and it is one of the few games that does actual full 1080p! You will not be dissappointed and should have already purchased it! If not, buy it now! Worth every penny!

I bought this game mostly for the Online play, but thought I'd check out the single player. The graphics were beastin. The game was intense and very hard on Veteran. The online play is sweet, even though the servers have occassional down-time. This is the BEST FPS for PS3, or 360 for that matter.. Definitely pick it up if you're looking for a new game.

You know you have a great game when your Aunt walks in the door and says, "scary how real it is." Those my friend are the graphics. The game, straying from the traditional WWII field, breaks new ground into the modern age. It has a great story line that can be played multiple times, not to mention the upbeat online play that must be seen to be believed.

I have been playing Call of Duty for the longest time and this is the best to me. I love the first one as well. That is what got me started. Playing with people on-line is fun. Well, if you have an questions then you should go to Youtube to check out some videos and see it for your self. It is not recommened for young kids. There is alot of Shooting.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has to be if not the best, one of the best games that has come out for all systems. It has great graphics and game play. Also multi player online is awesome with all of the people and now there is multi player off line so you can play with your friends which is pretty wicked awesome. Overall this game is the best ever!

Yes, as everyone is stating the campaign does end quickly but getting through it was not short on fun. There were times that I felt totally immersed in the environment. The graphics are simply incredible. The level of detail is incredible. This is a top notch game. A must have for FPS enthusiasts. High replay-ability and great, great online play.

I was looking for a game to match battlefield 2 on the 360. This is it, actually its better than I was expecting. Great graphics, great gameplay and the online mode it just awesome. I can not put this game down. This is a must buy. By far the best call of duty game so far.

This game deserves the game of the year award. It contains a compelling storyline, an amazing experience system for online play, and enough variety to keep you coming back day after day. The only problem with this game is that the amazing campaign mode ends, but with the online play, you won't be taking this disk out of your PS3 anytime soon.

This is a must buy for any FPS ( first person shooter) fan or just wanting a great game that really shows the PS3's capabilities. Its nice to see the COD guys do something other than WWII. Graphics are great. Surround Sound is great. Control is great. It will be a classic almost instantly. $60 well spent!! (although the wife may not think so).

If you are looking for the best 1st person shooter on the PS3 this is the game to get.The online gameplay is by far my most favorite and im a BIG socom fan and Call of Duty 4 blows socom out of the water for online gameplay.Graphics are rediculous i never thought a Video game system would have real life graphics.Hope the review helped out!!!

This is the best PS3 game out there. The graphics are unbelievable. Online gameplay is amazing. The only con I would say is that the story mode is a little short, but this is very minor. If you could only buy one game, this is it. You will never get bored playing COD4.

I have had this game for 7 months and I still am not tired of it. The online game play is so addicting, I just can't get enough. The leaderboards and challenges hook you into playing more and more. Infinity Ward hit a Grand Slam with this title. This game won Game of the Year in 2007 and it's so good it could win Game of the Year 2008.

I was let down with the single player but the multiplayer sure backed it up. i love the multiplayer on this game all the perks, air support ,choppers! Golden weapons are awesome prestige mode is kinda lame but the golden cross you get for 10th prestige is sweet.

I bought this game as my first game for my PS3, and all I have to say is :-0. This game is so much fun, and at 1080p, these graphics are so real and the sounds in this game are incredible. Definetely a must have if you love sooters, and even if you don't like shooters, you will absolutely love this game. Go pick out your copy ASAP!

I'm not a big FPS gamer, but from all of the buzz I've heard about this game, i had to get it. I am very impressed. If you have surround sound speakers, this game sounds amazing. Bullets whiz by and it really makes it feel you're in the game. I haven't played too long, but i can already tell this game is staying in my collection.
