Just buy battlefield call of duty is a thing of the past.

It's an okay game but could use some improvements.

Take everything you loved about Call of Duty and throw it out the window. If you like getting killed by campers, enjoy being sniped from the other side of the map, or like being shot in the back as soon as you spawn, then this is the game for you!

They really dropped the ball with this game. It's just not fun to play. The kill-streaks are watered down. They removed a lot of cool game modes. I would just avoid this game.

My son opened it ant began to install and could not because needed hard drive. Games should work with xbox without having to buy more parts. Not happy at all!!!

I am a big time Call of Duty fan, but I have become so bored of their newest addition "Ghosts". Just stay away and go back to the other Call of Duty Titles.

Didn't like it at all, only played it twice since I bought it. Multiplayer sucks. Mainly because of the community. Would recommend to rent first.

This appears to be a cut and paste of previous games. Not impressed and not leaving Black Ops II.

The new one is great. New storyline and characters. Customizing your character is great and easy. New prestige format. New Clan wars will help keep multiplayer fresh and competitive. The maps are large and different, not just overlays. The game still keeps the controls everybody is used to, with a new slide feature. Only downfall is the respawn. After a "death" the spawns tend to place your respawn in front of a opposing player instead of a "safe point" on the map. This helps spawn camping but can be frustrating getting shot as you are respawning. Great new shooter with endless hours to be played multiplayer. The Story is short but very good and is not why you by a Call of Duty game. You buy it for the multiplayer, and this game has freshened that part up nicely.

Should of bought BF4. game is craptastic. Save your money.

I Played few COD games and battlefield games. I like this game. This is a Good game . Favorite thing is the new extinction mode. It looks chaotic at 1st but after few games and learning to work as a team, it is so much fun, action packed, and offers many new tactics. Making it much better than zombies. Story line is not bad . It's entertaining . Best things are the cool action scenes and new ways you use tactics in the missions . Multiplayer is very good. They worked out all the kinks from before. Yes you do die faster but it's a good thing. Because now it prevents the bunny hoping and moving side to side to avoid dying . They also made it harder to do quick scoping. Maps are bigger and well constructed. Which is good. The hard core COD gamers hate the changes because they can't get all the kill streaks like they use too. 1 of The main reason for bad reviews. Overall very good game. I prefer it over battlefield 4.

I recommend this game to any call of duty lover - the graphics and maps are amazing!

I found this game to be better then Infinity Wards last game, Modern Warfare 3. This game is better both in single player as well as map design and online play. I like the new game modes but I don't like how they took away Ground War from the current gen systems and made them next gen exclusive. This will not be a problem for me that long as I'm getting my Xbox One on launch night and PS4 in December but I can see it being an issue with those not getting next get systems right away.

I bought this for my husband as a gift and he has not stopped playing it. He likes the call of duty series of games. He was impressed with the graphics and uniqueness of this game compared to the other call of duty games. I think he'll be entertained for awhile with this game.

OK here is my take on the game so far. To this point in time I have not completed the campaign. Have played in the squad and multiplayer modes. The campaign segments, the ones I have played so far, seem a little short in duration compared with others in the franchise. Saying that they are enjoyable and fun to play. As you may know the squad and multiplayer modes are a little different this time around. There is a bit of a learning curve to the new setup., like with everything else in the game you will get the hang of it over time. Others have complained about the size of some of the maps, personally I like big maps. You are able to roam and enjoy the game play. If your are a sniper I see no problem with you taking pop shots at the other team. That is the point to this type of map, outflank etc. the other team, think before you move and use the terrain as your friend. You just don't run around screaming like an idiot ( I know some do). With the new squad setup it's always a balance of spending the points over what you need, in other words you have to watch what you pay for. There are advantages of outfitting just one or two members of your squad with the best of everything, but there is that trade off. You may have one or two members of your squad who are "strong" while the rest of the squad are "weak". You have to balance things out. That is were think before you buy pays off. In the end just play the game, have fun and enjoy it for what it is - A GAME.

I am an active Call of Duty player. I have played since the first Modern Warfare. Please remember that this is only one persons review of the game. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. This game unfortunately was a big let down. With all the hype that was behind this game, I was hoping for something amazing that has never been seen before in this franchise. I don't feel like it delivered. Again, just my opinion. The single player campaign was incredibly short and not a real challenge.Visually, however, the game was astonishing.The story behind the Ghosts was pretty cool. But nothing that really makes you say, WHOA! The maps on the multiplayer vary drastically. One map can be very sparse and wide open, when the next map is very busy and too condensed. I feel it totally broke away from what Infinity Ward accomplished with previous games. Again, this is one mans opinion of the game. Play it yourself with an open mind.

Game was fun the first couple of days. I really play mostly multiplayer team deathmatch etc. the spawning is horrible. You will literally spawn right in front of the enemy and sometimes when they are already shooting your teammate so they get two kills. Plus you have to wait to respawn and watch your teammates play. Then you will spawn in front of the enemy and get to wait again. Or like the other reviewer said, you get shot in the back because the enemy spawned right behind you. Pretty sad to think that COD only gets worse and worse and we keep paying for this junk every November. The lag has been getting worse and worse too since I see more and more players online, should be really interesting about December 25th... The lag is probably worse than prior COD's already. Wish Best Buy took returns I would rather get a new hair removal device than keep this game or something more useful. Oh well at least I still have the old COD's to fall back on.

This is a fantastic game! Lots of unique and challenging weapons. Many level upgrades. The multi player has several different maps and many more could be purchased online.. An edge of your seat thrill lride with a story line with lots of twists and turns until the final grand finale at which point you'll want to start over from the beginning and play again!
