    This ink is a good choice for the Canon printer. I don not know why the package is XL. I am not sure if that is for extra large, but if it is this is the small one . There is a bigger size if you need more ink. Also, in the Canon printer I have both black cartridges 250/251. This one did not work without the 250. Not sure why. Maybe I did something incorrectly?

    What more can I say it's printer ink and it does what it's supposed to do very easy to install. Just be certain to get the right colors when you get a refill.
