This cartridge works well in my Canon and the 4ml size means longer time between refills compared with the smaller 3ml size. These cartridges will leak when replacing and I often get black on me and must stay alerted to this so nothing gets ruined. My printer must have black and color to work which means $ 80.00 plus tax and gas. Just seems excessive for me.

Print quality was excellent with the replacement of the old cartridge. I will purchase other black cartridges as well as color cartridges when the need arises. I like that I can recycle the old cartriges at Best Buy.

These are good Canon cartridges with none of the compatibility problems one may encounter with cheaper refilled cartridges. I tried those once and the Canon printer could not read the actual status, so I never knew how much ink was remaining until my copies began fading.

I only use Canon ink cartridges in my Pixma printer. The PG 40 black ink cartridge lasts as long as competitors and produces good results. No problems with leaks, drips or smears. Good quality ink cartridge.

Had my canon printer for over 6 years now and i never had any problem with this cartridge or ink so never even bother to change my printer...good quality on any type of. printing paper. I will surely recommend this to anybody especially in home use like mine.

Great value, easy to replace old cartridge, and reliable product. Just remember to pull tab off before installation.

I currently own two printers, an HP and a Canon. I've also previously owned Epson and Brother. I wouldn't recommend Brother at all, and Epson used to be good but not so much in recent years. So in my opinion, the only printer brands worth considering today are HP and Canon. Both are good, but I think where Canon has a slight lead over HP is with inkjet cartridges. My HP printer seems to run out of ink much faster than my Canon printer. Perhaps one reason for this is that the HP printer wastes more ink with print head cleaning and alignment. I've also found that Canon cartridges don't dry up as quickly as HP cartridges, which can really dry up quickly if you don't print every day. Based on my experience, I would say if you print a lot every day, get an HP. But if you print less often, Canon is a better value overall.

I needed ink for my printer and since they didn't have the previous version I had to go with this one. It does it's job and since I don't use the printer much it should last me for a while.

My computer uses this style of print ink. It's a bit less expensive if you buy the 2 pack with color and black ink. The bummer was my store didn't have the 2 pack in stock.

My Canon Pixma printer is ancient by printer standards and still works like a champ. This ink is reasonable and always in stock. Easy to install and remove. Happy camper.

Never had any issues with this product related to quality. Seems though I'm always running out of ink and all ink cartridges are over priced for what you get. Not just this brand, I am talking all ink in general. Crazy.

Reward members get a discount on printer ink. I only use my printer brand ink because of issues I've had with non-brand ink in the past, so it's good to get a price break!!

Who doesn't need more toner for their printer every now and then? This cartridge is a no risk solution since it is from the original manufacturer. No complaints.

I have looked for reasonably priced ink cartridges at other stores and found that Best Buy had the best price. The ink cartridge isn't one that is easily available, but Best Buy had the one that I needed.

It held ink.It was the right size and shape to fit my printer. It was priced reasonably, at least as reasonably as inkjet cartridges ever are...about half the price of the damned printer. I do most of my printing on a plain black Laser printer, Replace the cartridge once every 7 years or so...never dries out , never clogs, but its never in color.

Easy to replace the cartridge yourself. Find the old, push down to unlock, place new one in, press upward to lock into position.
