Canon - CLI-281 XXL High-Yield - Ink Cartridge - Magenta

Our Canon TR8520 printer was purchased May 2020 and uses 4 color & 1 black 281 plus 1 280 ink regular, XL & XXL cartridges. It's our first Canon printer. We've been experimenting with XXL size cartridges & so far seems to work just fine. BTW - We don't print in color for most of our printing. Ink prices are pretty high, so we're trying a "larger" size cartridge.

The xxl cartridge lasts twice as long as the standard size. They are a little pricey, so I apply reward points to reduce the price. I will buy this again.

OK so the XXL cartridge is the way to go. These cartridges can be hard to find though. I rated it three stars because they are all so expensive and just don't last long but that is the same for all ink.

I use XXL all the time and I’m very satisfied. My greeting cards are complimented on frequently and even saved by my friends.

The original cartridges that come with the printer don't last long at all. These XXL cartridges really do the job.
