We bought this lens for a trip to the Grand Canyon and it was well worth it. Easy to use and takes great photos.

We bought this lens for our Canon Rebel T3i. We looked at some cheaper options, primarily the Sigma 10-20mm. Many reviews questioned the consistency of the Sigma lens. Some of them worked great, others had image quality issues. So we decided to pay the extra money and get the Canon. The lens is definitely very high quality and has provided some great pictures for us.

If you use a crop-sensor Canon camera and are serious about wide-angle shots, whether to "take it all in" or make other use of perspective that wide-angle gives you, this is the lens to have. The 35-mm equivalent of this lens is roughly 16-35mm, a great range. The lens is pricey, though, and Canon does not call it an L series lens although I think it is in a league with the 17-40 EF zoom, given the build and optics. Excellent!

Wow! 10-22 mm is awesome. Though f/35-4.5 is a little slow for night time shooting traffic vehicles in the city. But over all I am happy with the lense. My daylight pics look great. Don't have to shoot a series of pics to capture wide area. This lense will do it all. By the way, I am using my cell phone to answer questions. Some day I will get a much deserve quality computer. Not right now. So no pics.

I took a chance in buying this lens, even though it had good reviews. It has exceeded my expectations! I am more than satisfied with my purchase. The pictures I have taken have come out crystal clear and given me just the right amount of detail in all of them. I thought the zoom might not be enough, but it's perfect so far.

This is my second 10-22mm lens by canon. This has the best wide view lens and great for my real estate appraisal business. I can photograph a high rise building and get everything from sidewalk to the top just standing across the street.

I use this lens for real estate photography. Mostly interior photos. This is an awsome lens! Could be as good of picture quality as an L lens! Very sharp pictures, I'm impressed. Price is high for an EF-S lens but the quality makes up for it.

This is a great choice for a cropped sensor Canon camera for those wide angle shots. Images are sharp and the build quality of this lens is really solid.

I purchased this lens to take photos of interior rooms. It is fully meeting my needs for photos that show more of a room than does a standard lens. Disclaimer: I am not a professional photographer, but am a new photography hobbyist and do use the photos to advertise rentals.

Enough said... this should be a Canon L lense. Once of the few EF-S lenses that has superb glass. Canon designed this very well and it is a MUST for crop sensor owners. ESPECIALLY at this price!
