I'm glad I bought the IS lens instead of the standard lens. I have been taking so many pictures at soccer games and many action photos. I know without the IS the pictures would not turn out well. I need the IS feature. I would definitely recommend this lens to anyone!

I could not be happier with this lens. I recently upgraded from point and shoot cameras to Dslr and all the pictures looks amazing to me. No problems with the lens or camera. Great picture quality with this lens.

The amount of zoom on this lens is amazing!! I couldn’t believe how good the pics were.

This, like all Canon lenses, is a high quality lens and with the focal lengths beginning at 55mm - this can easily be your "only" lens - replacing the typical 50mm with the added benefit of zooming smoothly to 250mm to get you right in the action.

Just picture perfect and what I need in a zoom lense. Well worth the purchase.

I gave to my son for a gift. Wasn't sure what type to get for his camera, did a little research && thought this one to be the best for what he wanted. He was very pleased with it. He says it does so much more than his old lens, but he is still learning how to use it.

This is a great lens if you are starting out. I got it bundled with another deal and I don't regret it. Although I don't use it often, due to using a shorter range lens, I find this lens reliable for my use. *I am not a professional photographer haha*

The lens will be a welcome addition for our Camera. Just got back from a safari and dropped one lens there so had to borrow another lens from the PH for the rest of the trip. I will be looking to upgrading to a wider angle lens in the future.

I've only had the lens for one month but I'm very pleased with the quality of the pictures that I've taken to date. The image stabilization feature on the lens is a very useful feature.

I have the Canon 70D and this is a welcome addition to my lens collection. It has IS and is great for a number of scenarios. I would recommend this as a basic to any amateur photographers kit.

I'm new to DSLR photography, but I love having this lens in my bag. It has great range and the stabilization feature is very helpful. Especially when photographing wildlife. And it just feels like a high-quality lens.

I wasn't thrilled when my husband decided to get the zoom lens for some extra cost, but after I used it... it was sooo worth it. It doesn't take long to focus and it does reduce the effects of camera shake. Great pictures with this lens. Highly recommend.

Great lens. Purchased this for taking pictures of the kids sporting events. Not a crazy zoom but works well on the field and holding with your hand.

I purchased this lens as part of a bundle with my camera and couldn't be happier. We have only used it a few times but the difference in detail versus the standard lens is definitely noticeable. I definitely recommend this lens and the bundle pricing.

The Canon - EF-S 55-250mm has brought my photography experience to a new level. A very good lens at an affordable price, it's motor is seamless and focus is very sharp. This lens takes excellent pictures, particularly in low light.

I had another brand camera which doesn't fit this lens, so I had to return this. but as the quality is the major thing which tempted me to buy this item. I should be thankful to customer service team who assisted a smooth process.

Yes it is very good. It has a function that electronically focuses when on auto focus.
