The image stabilizer on this product is amazing. It makes those long shots effortless .

I am trying my hand on photography , this has been one of the basic lens which i have purchased . still exploring this, so far this is great.

Really nice lense. Does a great job of zooming in and out. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to take pictures. I use it all the time for my kids' sports. Gets me right in close!

Purchase this lens for my daughter to take pics on our Alaskan trip she took great shots with it!! She was able to zoom in on Seals sitting on small icebergs that we could see with naked eye. Loves the lens

Nice lens. Good intermediate lens for a Canon Rebel.

It's great for its ease of use and versatility. I pretty much leave this lens on for every shot. Not great for fat away shots but I am a beginner and may not be using it to its full potential.

Well, what else can you say for this lens?? It works like a charm and takes fantastic pictures. I use it on my T5i and everything I take looks crisp and clear. I love this lens and I saw this and a 50mm should be in everyone's gear bag.

Zoom lenses are good for general, fun , point and shoot stuff. I like this one because it covers a range of magnifications. Canon lenses are always good quality and if I have the cash I prefer them to off brand lenses.

Exactly what I needed to add to my collection. Perfect for taking pics of my kids at their school events...I always seem to get stuck in the back, so this lens works well to get closer shots.

This came in a bundle with the Rebel T5i, and it's a very nice lens for a beginner, in my opinion. I woud rather have gotten a 70-300mm, but it still allows me to zoom in to the top of Pikes Peak from the middle of Colorado Springs.

This lense has very good clarity for telephoto, I used it for a photographing a foot race and had no problems with getting a quick focus, I also photographed the total eclipse with this lense again no problems.

Great lens for the beginner like myself. Its lacks the essence of quality, but still recommend it. GREAT FOR PHOTOS OUTSIDE AND GOOD FOR OUTSIDE VIDEO, NOT GOOD FOR INSIDE BECAUSE OF THE APERTURE CHANGING, STILL GREAT AND CHEAP!

I found this lens to perform exactly as advertised. the combination of telephoto capability with a variety of exposure setting perfect in capturing my grandchildren's performance at swim meets and soccer games.

This is a great way to get into longer focal lengths without spending a ton of money. The build quality is a little plastic-ey, but everything functions perfectly. The image quality is good but is certainly not going to rival a high-end lens like the Canon 70-200 L. I am please with this lens. Oh, remember to keep your shutter speeds up when you are shooting way out on the range of this lens!
