This is a great telephoto lens. Recently used this on a golf trip and was able to get some great shots of the holes.

No doubt this is one of the best telephoto lens in this oroce range . Photos are crisp and clear even from the dostance .

I trade between this and the 18-55. Went to animal kingdom in disney world, and was able to snap photos of a lion using this lense awesome shot and very well focus.

I needed a zoom lens but didn't want to spend a great deal of money. I am an amateur photographer and not a professional. I also needed a lens with the stabilization feature and that feature can add hundreds to the price. This is a great lens and it didn't set me back a fortune.
