The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens is one of the best performing lenses I've used. It is the best from both an image quality perspective and from an AF speed/accuracy perspective. The lens is very sharp, Itt's well built and focuses extremely fast. The lack of image stabilization is my only con for this lens.

This lense is fast, and has a great range for multipurpose use. This is my go to lense for majority of the photography work that I do!

Amazing lens if for whatever you're doing. From portraits to street photography. Best investment you can make for yourself if you're going to stick to Canon.

It is a quality lens, as everyone says. Though I have two R cameras, I went for the EF lens because I still do a lot of shooting on other cameras and I really want to be able to use this workhorse. This particular unit seems to be in fine shape. Haven't noticed any problems so far.

This lens should be your first big glass buy... I know the $ tag is a lot to take in, but if your just starting out, this Lens with 24-70mm and a Fixed 2.8 Aperture will allow you to basically do all types of photography from outdoors to low light like weddings etc. If I need to run "light" and can't choose this is my goto lens.. I have the Entire canon L Series Line of lenses and this one and the 70-200mm f/2.8L can literally be your only 2 lenses if you need to travel light and want to shoot video or still images!

This lens is one of the most popular canon lenses for a reason. Excellent quality, build, quality, and easy of use. Fast and silent, focus, and excellent for video.

The Canon 24-70 mark ii lens is pricey - that's for sure. But in this case you get what you pay for. There is no better standard zoom for Canon cameras than this. Everything works as it should and it is solid as a tank. It remains consistently sharp throughout the zoom range and even wide open it is stunning. This lens has been the standard for professional photographers who use the Canon system. If you're looking for the best, you've found it.

I paired this with my Canon 5F MkIV and am impressed with the results so far. I'm not the type of photographer that gets new kit and then spends the next couple of days shooting 100s of photos so it will take me longer than some to form a more concrete opinion. But right now I have zero complaints. It's pricey so I have to drop it down to 4/5 for value, but it's really up to YOU to determine a product's value.

I'm a wedding photographer, I use to have the previous version of this lens. B4 I was think why should I re invest in same focal length. Then one of my friend bought these lens I got a chance to use this lens in two wedding shoot. I loved it. Very very sherp and one thing I want to mention that in same exposure you will get brighter picture.

This lens is great. It provides a wide angle for those larger group shots and also gives you some zoom to get a bit closer.

This is my new favorite lens. Once I started using it I completely forgot about how much money I'd spent on it...and I couldn't forget at the same time because it's quality is unmatched. Having shot on a few fixed lenses in the past, personally, I love having the versatility of being able to zoom without having to physically reposition myself. If you're considering different f stop lens, if you do a lot of portrait work I would stick with the 2.8. Pay the extra money and you won't regret it.
