Awesome lens. Works perfectly well on my Canon APSC Camera. The only issue I am facing is, this lens is made for Full frame sensor and when I use it on my APSC sensor, this lens turns into a 80mm lens.

Yes this is a much needed and wanted improvement over the older model. I take video where I need my lense to be on auto focus and when I replay the footage you can barely hear the lense shift. It's amazing and I'm glad I purchased this as a replacement to my other much noiser 50mm

I am new to photography. I was told this is the lense to use to make sure that you are able to take close-up pictures without issue.

Anyone buying this is probably getting one of their first lenses with a consumer dslr. Congratulations on moving away from the kit lens! This lens works exactly as described and is cheap enough to get you a versatile lens that will allow you to learn a lot about photography.

got my son the eos rp and this lens focus is quick and it’s lightweight... not to count the price is perfect

I really love this lens. I have been getting more into photography and this was just the lens I needed and I love the detail I can get with it.

I'm learning about photography for kids and infants and I'm on low budget, so after reading a lot of reviews I decided to add this lens for work. And I got to say, with the $$ I paid, it's big bang for the buck. My pictures turned out great. Can't be happier

If you are not going to take far away shots and want to lighten up your Camera weight and size - you can take off the 18mm-55mm lense and put on this one. The only down side to this one is you cant zoom out. You will have to back up away from the object.

I have not used this a lot so a detailed review is not possible now but so far it's working well I like it.

Nice lens ,wanted a fast fixed focal length lens. To carry for a variety of subjects when telephoto length isn't needed.

Got this to go with my new camera. Been having a lot of fun taking various up close and far away shots with the various lenses. Reminds me of the fun I had using my OG cannon rebel when we actually used film.

Excellent Macro lens love made the best macro photos yet. Good value for the buck.

I like this lens, but it is not used nearly as often as my 85mm 1.8 Nice to have around and easy to carry- will keep it.
