My favorite go to lens for any type of videography or photography. Can’t go wrong as a first lens for aspiring videographers.

This is a definite go to lens! It should be in every photographers gear. Clarity and manageability are a plus! The price is great for this all around terrific addition to your Canon body.

This lens is ok to get you by if you can't afford the 1.4 but I ended up returning it after using once. If you've used the 1.4 version you won't be able to step back to this but if you're in a pinch and need a decent, lightweight cheap lens this one works just fine.

If you don't have the money to dish out for the f/1.4 this is a good alternative.

This is by far, my favorite portrait lens. It lives in my camera most of the time. And it’s rare that I use a different Lens. Clarity is amazing.

Got this for my husband and he's been really happy using it with his Canon D80, he says it's doing good to focus on his subject. Definitely recommends this to other photographers as well.

I haven't used this a lot yet but comparing it to the 24mm I just picked up it is definitely worth the money. Also I am trying just to start buying ef lenses instead of ef-s ones.

Best lens for the price. Had a speck of dust in the first one took it back and got a new one. Worked flawless and takes great pics.

This lens may not be the first option for beginners. I’m still getting used to using it manually but the focal depth options are endless. Having lots of fun using this lens.
