Works very well with my Canon 60D. Enjoyed using it to take engagement pictures of my son & his finance. Easy to use. Clear, crisp photos.

This lens is on the cheaper side of Canon lenses, but it doesn't fall short. It creates a great background, and it is great for portraits. Wouldn't recommend for landscapes, but definitely creates beautiful images! Very lightweight and works great with my t6s.

Aperture aperture aperture. I was so surprised at how pleasant and fun this lens is. It was recommended to me by a store employee and one day I thought why not I’ll buy it it’s only $125. Oh my goodness do I love this lens it is small and lightweight I love it because when I edit my photos I tend to zoom in dramatically on many photos that I take and when I use this lens it minimizes the amount of editing that I do since it shoots at a zoomed in position already. I love that the aperture goes down to 1.8 and I am able to achieve that desire Desired of blurred background look I am now curious at how the $300 50 millimeter lens is going to work.

The lens that is known as the Nifty Fifty lens is now the one that is attached to my camera while in the camera bag. If I need something quick, it's my goto lens. It is a good all around lens and should be one of your goto lens if on a trip.

I love this lens. It is affordable, light-weight and takes beautiful photos. Of course as a prime lens (i. e. not zoom), it has limited versatility, but I am glad that I purchased it.

Bought this lens after watching a couple of review videos of how easy it is to use and they were absolutely correct fell in love with this lens right away and quality of pictures was improved immensely !

This is an essential prime lens for portrait photography. Great price, fast glass, making it decent in low light situations. Good bokeh too. It is a little slow to focus, but the pros outweigh the cons on this one. You won't go wrong with this entry level lens.

Heard a lot about the nifty fifty decided to get one, and I'm very pleased with the results. Great for all a around lens. Easy to get blurred background. Feel like I will get a lot of use out of this lens.

For the price this lens is excellent especially compared the f1.4 version that's more than 2x the price. The autofocus is a bit slow but I chalk that up to my camera. Image quality is excellent and comprable to the more expensive f1.4 lens

Lens produces excellent bokah when used as a portrait lens with crop sensor cameras. Also works great in low light situations with the 1.8 aperture. One of the best lenses you can buy for the price it's sold at.

Everyone should own a nifty fifty! I love using this Len and use it a lot when doing portraits. The “boca” is really good with this lens. The price just adds to how amazing this lens is! Buy one….you won’t regret it!

This lens is a must-have for the price. It’s incredibly lightweight and produces much sharper images than my kit lens. The f/1.8 aperture creates a beautiful blurred background that makes portraits look professional. It’s easily the best value in my camera bag.
