so happy I finally purchased this lens. The pictures turn out so great!

Great lens. Nice bokeh and pretty sharp image. I soon replaced it with the larger Canon 50mm f1.4 USM lens though, which honestly I quite regret. 1.4 was nearly triple the price and the performance and image quality was nearly similar.

It’s wonderful. I just got into photography and it’s really simple to use. It doesn’t zoom in or out but it’s perfect. It had auto stabilization and so you don’t have to worry about trying to figure it out.

It's a great lens. It is very fast so you may want to avoid any shaking. However, it takes gorgeous pictures and photos will look very professional. Highly recommended.

I wanted a lens where I can take crisp action shots of basketball games, as well as portraits and this lens delivers it all! I don't even have to do much editing. Vibrant color, crisp shots, a great lens all around for a great price!

I love this lens! definitely a great lens if you want to do a YouTube channel.. if you don't have the money to buy the sigma 18mm-35mm one.. this one will do! definitely recommend!

I love my 50mm 1.8. It's a lot of fun to shoot with and the images are great. I accidentally dropped mine and broke it — so when I needed one fast, Best Buy was just down the road and had it in stock! Thanks guys!

I love this lens. I practiced using by taking pictures of my wife and my Halloween decorations. The pictures had great focus and a beautiful blur behind the subject. Its a must have for the camera bag.

The revised Canon 50mm is a nice improvement from the prior model - with a larger (and more quiet) focus ring and better auto-focus (along with sharp photos and a great price) - this one lens any photographer should not be without.

This lens is great for personal photography, especially when I want to keep my kit small and mobile. The focal length is a bit tight for room shots, but great for candids and casual portraits with family and friends.

Bought this for my wife since she didn’t have one that would capture human eye quality. She loves using this lens and I find her using it more than the bigger lens the cañón camera came with.

I love this lens! It automatically blurs put the back ground of the photos. Also it gets a really great up close snapshot.

I am new to photography and this lens made a difference from the ones that came with the camera kit. I love this lens and look forward to taking better photos!
