Great lens i take pics with all the time, does what it claims too.

Based on the suggestion of a well knowledge sales associate I picked this one up and would highly recommend. I do not have a lot of experience using it yet but pleased with the results to date.

This is the best lens ever! Its very easy to use and the auto focus is quiet and not loud like the older version. Great lens if you're barely getting into photography/videography.

If you're just starting off with taking pictures you must get this lens can't beat the price for the quality of pictures you get from it

Great compact lens that has really nice sharpness and going to f/1.8 is great for selective focus images and portraits in low light.

Bought this for my wife. She really loves it and it takes amazing photos. This has really stepped up her photography game. Would recommend.

This is a great affordable prime lens. The 50mm length is used often in portraits and the price point of the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM is reasonable for the shallow depth of focus it provides.

Wife loved the lens works perfect for her camera. Will be keeping an eye out for more lenses.

This was my first lens purchase to have something other than my kit lenses. I have been very happy with it and have really appreciated the bigger aperture capabilities.

If you are looking to have a nice background blur in your portrait pictures this lens its what you need, also the STM make this lens really quite if you are recording video, cheers.

I can't believe this lens, for the price... An amazing value, and the shots at the lower f/stops have great depth of field. I am a huge fan!!!

This is definitely a much needed lens. Outgrew the lenses my camera kit came with. This is the bread and butter!

Bought it for my Canon 5D2. Had one in the past but lost it. This takes great pictures. Was a good option for me cause I bought it for our family vacation. Can't go wrong for the price.

best overall sense for that price you can't go wrong! this lens will take your photography skills to another level. it does good in low light situations with a low appeture.
