I had a 50mm f1.8 (non-stm) and it broke and decided to get this one. Performs better and has more of a solid construction.. I recommend this item hands down. Get one!

Got this one for my wife and she really loves it so I would say that this lens is a win.

This is a great lower priced option for the 50mm, if you have the budget, spend the extar money for the f1/4 50mm lens, but this one is excellent for a beginner.

I really like this lens. Nice bokeh for portraits. Quick silent focusing. The only problems I have experienced are, purple fringing mostly on high contrast areas and the image quality isn't very sharp if you're more than a few feet away from your subject. The lens is great when you are close to your subject. Great deal, I always have it with me.

50 MM is a great lens that is very fun and interesting to use. From the beginner to the very well round photographer. Small, light & compact, as well as very stylish.

This is a go to lens. A must have in anyone's arsenal. Complements the Canon 70d and Rebel well, light weight small, compact and doesn't take up much room in the bag.

Shoots great in photoshoot situations. Works awesome for video. No zoom, so it is great to use when you're shooting in a room. It is my favorite lense and my go to.

A MUST HAVE!!! Seems like since COVID, everyone picked up some sort of hobby haha. Sells out fast so when I saw it was available in store late one night, I made sure to buy it online for store/curb side pick up that way I’d get it before it sold out again. I’m only am amateur/hobby photographer so this works perfect for me. I’m sure professionals would buy/invest in much better lens but for this price and this quality, it’s a must have.
