    Very Reasonable Lens

This is a very inexpensive way to get a f1.8 lens. I got it as part of my transition to full-frame cameras and lenses. Very small, very light, and obviously "fast." I use it mostly for video, and this is where the small and light becomes a negative. I can't get my follow focus to fit between this lens and anything. I still use it, just requires work-arounds.

I was looking for a prime lens with a wide aperture at an affordable price. This lens fits my needs. Takes great pictures with shallow depth of field that I love!

The Nifty Fifty for every photographer

The affordable Nifty Fifty that produces exceptionally sharp images. I have had this lens for over a month and it has my go to other than my 18-55mm kit lens. If your a street photographer, portrait taker, landscape capturer this lens is for you. Produces sharp images at almost all focus ranges. I have found that anything past f/16 the image becomes softer. F/1.8 max aperture makes it ideal for low light photography. For the price it also produces pleasant bokeh. Buy the lens and you will be pleased. Use it in a crop sensor camera or full frame.

For the price you couldn't ask for a better "Nifty Fifty" lens. It is quick and takes very crisp photos. Not to heavy and easy to change out.

There’s no better lens for the price. Shots are comparable to my much more expensive lens except for at the extreme apertures.
