Very good lens for this price. The sweet spot is around f/4-5.6. With f.8 don't expect it to be super sharp, but pretty decent. This is a Full Frame lens, but can be used with APS-C cameras accepting full frame lenses, although it will become 80mm lens because of the 1.6 crop factor.

This us a light, plastic lens which feels low-brow but is actually very useful and shoots very nice shots. It's excellent for portraits, as it's easy to blur the background. It's not that much different than the much more expensive F1.4 version. Well worth the money.

They don’t call the 50mm lens the “nifty-fifty” for nothing. This lens is a must have for anyone looking to get into portrait photography. It’s one of the most useful prime lenses I’ve ever purchased. On top of this, it’s very hard to rival the quality of a canon lens! They look and feel immaculate, I’d highly recommend this lens!

This lens is a must have. Really practical, lightweight, with a 1.8 aperture. Doesn’t matter if you’re a professional or not you need that lens for lightweight errands, quick street shots if you want to be unnoticed. Decent color saturation.
