The build quality is decent but mostly plastic. I thought the focusing would be quieter but it is kind of noisy. However there is not much bad to say about this lens. If you want a cheap prime lens to start out with and maybe use for portraits or low light photography it is an awesome lens.

Gets a low enough f/stop to create exceptional portraits. It’s a prime lens so you are forced to move your body to get the right frame. Love it

And I couldn’t be happier with that advice. I love the images I’ve captured with this lens in the few weeks I’ve had it. The price was fantastic, too. I thought it was going to be so much more expensive than it was.

I bought this for my Canon Rebel T6 that I bought from a private seller. Super easy to use, having only an AF-MF switch and the focus ring. Not sure about prices among lenses since Im new to photography but $100 looked to be a solid price

Also is very good one of the best lenses for video, I attached to my Canon EOS 70d and the results recording is wonderful. Yes I recommend this product is worthy
