This lens is my favorite.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this lens almost every shoot. Make sure to keep your receipt or use your rewards card membership when buying for proof of purchase. This is my second lens as I broke my previous and was not able to provide proof of purchase within the year because I didn’t have my original receipt.

Great lens for a beginner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lens takes amazing photos and is much better than a kit lens for shooting portrait style photos. It does not offer the same range as the distance is not adjustable, but it allows a lot of light in and can look great in any lighting, even low lighting. Overall amazing lens, especially for the price.

Great portrait lens
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve always wanted this lens and I finally saved up to get it. You have to stand pretty far from your subject if you want to get a good shot but the bokeh is good and the focus is even better.

Takes great pictures for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this lens now for 5 months and I love it. The pictures are crisp and the bokeh are just perfect. Plus you could barely hear it focusing when shooting videos. The best bang for the money.

Value for money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a pretty good lens for its price. Captures great images with bokeh effect and is suitable for portraits. The low light performance is also great. If you have a canon DSLR and looking to get your first lens then look no further. Value for money guaranteed.

Lightweight, sharp and inexpensive.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Canon 50mm STM is a must have lens for anyone who needs to shoot in low light or simply wants a sharp, lightweight lens than be used for portraits or general purpose short telephoto work if shooting with an aps-c crop format camera such as any of the Rebels. Highly recommended.

Get this lens now!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So much bang for your buck, This is a great versatile lens, I use it for just about everything. It's a nice solid lens. It's excellent for low light situations where you don't want to use a flash. Heads up, if you have a cropped sensor this becomes an approximately 80mm lens.

Great lens to carry around
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sharpness, it's all about it. But don't go up to the max aperture if you want more sharpness. Great lens for carrying around during travel. Best for portraits and street photography. Not able to zoom is a drawback, but you have the best quality image.

Necessary!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This lens is beyond necessary. Don’t get me wrong, I love the lenses that the camera came with, however, they were a little too big for every day use. This lens is exactly what I was looking for and can’t wait to take it on my next hike!
