This is a must have lens for your bag. Definitely an upgrade compared with the kit lens. On a half sensor you must adjust your distance, but the quality is great especially paired with a filter lens.

I really like the background blur of this lense. It’s small and portable which makes it easy to carry. Also affordable for the quality. Can’t really zoom in or out but that’s expected

This is a great lens for the price! I know that the price tags on a lot of the faster lenses is daunting but this is an excellent addition for beginners!

This lens is really very fun to shoot with. It creates a great blurred background when taking portraits and at the price it’s so worth the money. I have really enjoyed taking photos of my kids with this lens as well as objects.

Perfect for all the up close food photography and detail work I need to do. If you want to get up close without getting to close, but still capturing all the details, this is the lens for you. Great for getting a cool bokeh effect too!

This was a recommended lens on a photography blog/website I follow. I was able to get it on sale and tried it out right away. I'm new to the DSLR level of cameras but this little lens is going to be fun to play with. Very happy with my purchase.

Absolutely loved using this, you have to really make sure your focused to the subject though but once you are super crisp images. And the speed of the camera due to the low aperture makes it incredible!

This nifty fifty is a GREAT purchase for those on a budget. although it won’t get you that crazy “bokeh” effect, like a 1.2 or 1.4 would, this is still a great investment and addiction to any starting photog’s bag.

This is the best lens for portraits, in my humble opinion. I am just a novice photographer, and bought this lens based on reviews in YouTube. Works well with my T7i camera.
