Great gift for Granddaughter

This was a B-Day present and perfect fit...she LOVES it! She is still experimenting and VERY HAPPY!

Best for the money..

This is pretty much my default lens. Worth every penny, unless you can afford the f1.4 50mm lens.

Nifty fifty standard

Down the road it can be used in a full frame canon because it is a EF lens.

Nice Bokeh
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't expect to receive such a nice bokeh effect from this lens, but after using it up close to take pictures of collectibles I noticed it and was pleasantly surprised. This is very light prime lens and Canon made a good update with the STM version of this lens. It's not an L lens, but for the price, this is a great little lens. I use it with a Full Frame Canon 6D.

Great portrait lens

The f/ 1.8 is great and super clear and focuses really well. I would highly recommend this lens to anybody that wants to do portraits and stills!

The lens is fast and the aperture is wide enough to capture indoor shots without flash. Just what I needed!
