Good for Portraits

Awesome lens for the price

It's very affordable and great for low light and wide aperture shots. It will help beginner photographers increase there skills because it is a prime lens. My only complaints are that the image quality could be better and it's hard to get you focus correct at wide apertures. It is also noisier then I expected when focusing. That being said it is still highly recommended.
