    This is a full-frame (EF vs EF-S) lens that will work on Canon DSLRs or mirrorless with an adapter. It's relatively inexpensive, has a bright aperture of f1.8 so it's good in low light and the 50mm focal length is good for general photography and portraiture.

    This was an early Christmas for my son's fiance. She ha used it several times and really likes the quality of the pictures which it creates. She has mentioned this to me several times since Thanksgiving (when she received it).

    I just bought this lens and have been nothing but impressed with the results. It takes stunningly clear pictures with great bokeh. Fantastic for low light too. Only bad thing is the EF mount doesn’t slide easily into an EF-S camera. Kinda rough.
