Customers commend the EOS 7D Mark II for its exceptional image quality, ease of use, and impressive speed, particularly its high frame rate which is great for capturing sports and action shots. Positive feedback also highlights the improved autofocus and low-light performance compared to its predecessor. However, some users note that the camera's weight and battery life could be improved. The abundance of features is also a frequently cited positive aspect.

I recently stepped up from my old EOS T1i to the EOS 7D. The 7D is a little heavier than my previous Canon cameras but so far seems to be worth the expense and additional weight. There are an abundance of features so a more detailed manual would have been useful. Will probably have to take a few classes to make the most of this camera.

Canon really hit a grand slam with this one. Great camera, great features and amazing image quality. That 10fps sounds like a machine gun!!!!!!! Wow, that's all I can say.

This is a great camera for people wanting to take a step up from the Rebel but not wanting to spend the price of a 5d. It takes great pictures and is pretty user friendly. I bought it for a trip to Africa, among other things, so I love that it also has built in GPS.

Awesome camera, amazing for still photography, also really good for video. The Mark ii works much better in low light than the previous 7D. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this camera to upgrade from my Canon T4i. I enjoy wildlife photography, so need a camera with a fast focus. I read numerous reports on the Canon 7d Mark II and every one of them was positive. This camera has a burst rate of 10 fps. That is crazy fast. Plus at 20.2 mp the images are crystal clear. I am very happy I bought this camera.

Stepping up from Canon 60D - but not able to justify the cost for full frame - this 7D is one terrific alternative. By staying within the Canon family, the transition was smooth. Two cards (CF & SD) allow for redundant recording, and at differing resolutions, if desired. Auto-focus improvements are dramatic, albeit a bit more complicated to learn. 10 fps speed is awesome; expanded ISO range a big plus.

I initially purchased Canon 70D from another retailer, and, luckily for me now, that camera had serious focusing defects. I was going to purchase another 70D, but stopped by at Best Buy store and had some test shots.
When I had Canon 7D Mark II in my hands, it immediately felt like a glove and responded very nicely. It has less functions in Menu than 70D does, but it is much easier to work around.
I`ve had this camera for a month now and took it on a trip, and so far, I am very happy with my choice.

LOVE the number of cross focus AF points. Like the in viewfinder level as well. Wish it had wi-fi instead of the pop up flash.

This camera is extremely fast and takes really nice photos if you know how to use it. This camera puts out phots they are very close to the quality of the Canon 5D Mark III full frame camera. No it is not a full frame, but this crop sensor camera will give you much more reach with a zoom lens and is lighting fast without giving up much in image quality.

I got the camera while i was on vacation/work. I have a T4i which is more than capable of shooting the subjects I have to shoot. But i tried the 7D Mk2 and i was blown away by the quality and performance. I shot pics i had never shot before and captured action shots as well. Best camera I have had in a long time.

I purchased this Canon 7D Mark ll, as a replacement of my Canon 40D. I am just wow'd by how great this camera is. I purchased an extra book, just top learn all the new functions this camera has over my 40D. Having a blast with it.

Having had a 7D in the past, when I saw this I thought it was time to upgrade to a newer camera. I wasn't disappointed because when I got it, it was more than what I expected. Resolution was better, pictures taken were great. . .

I love this camera! Bought this because my other camera wore out on me. This takes nice pictures. It is very fast for those action shots. The only drawback for me is battery usage, but I just purchased a couple extra batteries, not that big of a deal. I have my camera set to highest resolution, with a 16 GB card I get around 450+ pictures and that generally uses 1 battery pack. I have been using live shot too, so that will zap the battery more, just to give you an idea.

I use this for weddings. I am professional and I have upgraded to this camera from an D700 kit camera. I got the 7D MKll kit and the 18x200 lens. The burst mode is awesome to have for what I do. Aerial photos. Minus is the GPS eats up battery life but I will just bought another battery.

I purchase my first camera in 1980, it was a Canon AV-1. Currently used a Canon 50D for 5 years and wanted to upgrade. Almost bought the 6D but did not like the reviews regarding the AF system and slow frames per second capabilities. Also did not need GPS and Wi fi. After reading and watching many (you tube) reviews online I purchase the 7D Mk ll body and a 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.8. I thought of full frame but 5D Mk ll is too expense for a hobby. The build quality is solid like the 50D but 7D is weather sealed. With the two fast primes lens I can take sharp pictures indoor in low light. The 65 focus points is nice to compose the shot on your subject . Pictures with Canon 430EX II turned out very good too. I have taken around 300-400 pictures in 3 weeks. Overall I am very happy the the 7D. It's great for action photograph and also for portraits with the 85mm 1.8 . If your not sure go online and review or watch the reviews before making the move.
