This is a top of the line, Highly advanced Canon DSLR with incredible functions. It auto focuses at an incredibly fast speed, with above average focus! It is incredible for Sports Photography with 10 frames per second and 2 processors!

Best aps-c body you can buy. Blazing fast auto focus and fps. It has a professional build and and doesn't feel cheap like most aps-c bodies. You can get pro level results from this body with good glass attached.

camera is fast and focus system great for bif. tried ccamera immediately and was simple to learn and produces a very quality shot when used with my 100-400 lens

So I've been shooting everything on my 5D. It was great for low light performance but the only drawback was the frames per second (fps). It was S-L-O-W! I was shooting a lot of corporate events and started looking at the 1DX, but wholly smokes was it expensive. I also read it's replacement was on the horizon. So my brother recommended I take a look at the 7DMII. I had the MK1 and didn't like the noise performance so I was a bit weiry on the new 7D. All the reviews raved about it. So I took a leap of faith. Great choice! The speed (10 fsp) was blazing fast and noise performance was excellent, although still not as good as my 5D. And I saved myself a fist full of cash not buying a 1DX.

This will be the last camera I will ever have to buy. If your looking for an APSC camera then this is it. Just wish it had a touch screen like my T5i. I love everything else about this 7d Mk ii

Purchased this camera in late fall of 2014. Used it heavily on family vacation trip in summer of 2015 to National Parks out west. It took amazing photos of the mountains and wildlife.

This camera is fast and with the correct AF settings, its on the mark. I have gotten many pictures that I would have missed with my 60D. The one problem is the LCD monitor. The pictures look soft but the RAW is sharp. The 60D screen was much better. If it wasn't for this I would have given it 5 stars.

I've been shooting with this camera for about a month now and it hasn't let me down yet. The only downside, which is really only a big deal when shooting fisheye, is that is that the camera is not full frame. Other than that, 10fps, 1/250th flash sync, hd video, and many other features make this camera a great choice.

If you're into sports photography or just chasing young kids around you can't go wrong. The auto focus system is second to none very customizable to meet your needs.

Video Auto focus is sweet, my husband shots with 5 d mark III that's why I chose to upgrade my 7 d to this one and I like videography as well

I upgraded from the Canon 7D Mark I to the Mark II. Not only is this camera fast, it takes great photographs in lower light.

I've only had the camera a few day, but find it to be everything I wanted in a camera for the type of photos I take. The shutter is wicked fast at 10fps....this camera performs at high ISO just as promised. I can't wait to learn how to use this camera to it's full potential. I tried to upload a photo, but this site won't let it upload...sorry.

This is a great camera for sports. Only problem is that it eats battery. Make sure you have two!

I waited a few years since buying my Canon 40D to upgrade and decided to go with the 7D over the 5D because of the high speed shutter rate and a few other features - I believe the 7D has newer DIGIC processors than the 5D at the thime of this writing. If you can get this when on sale it's a real value. AF has 65 focus points so that has been the biggest change to get used to. It's a much more advanced AF system than was in the 40D and takes a bit of adjusting to get used to. Other than that it's a great camera you just need to spend some time with the online manual to be sure you fully understand all of the menu items and how they affect the images. You don't necessarily want to go with the defaults in every case.

I love this camera! Great for shooting pics of kids playing sports. Excellent clarity!
