Love this camera! It's light and so easy to use. The quality of the photos are amazing! Just came back from Hawaii and really love the close up shots of all the amazing tropical florals!

I am a beginner in photography but this camera makes it easy, even for me. It has all the settings for detailed pictures or point and click. Easy to use and light weight. Takes great pictures and is fun to use.

Use my SL1 as a backup for my Canon 70 D. Makes a great museum setup as it is very small and light. I use it with a footed Monopod to help stabilize camera for slower shutter speeds which are sometimes needed in museums with low light displays. Very compact and takes great images.

The one thing I don't like with standard dslr is their size, but this one is really compact and light weight. Takes good photo as expected from dslrs. Touch screen is really helpful for quick setting and navigation.

This is a great starter camera for someone getting into photography, or a great all-around camera for the lay person. Beautiful, clear images and pretty user friendly system, but the user manual should be gone over to get all of the features as there's a lot to learn.

We bought this camera for our cruise to Alaska. We loved it! Takes really good pics and is easy to use. We bought the bundle so we got a second lens which was great for the type of pictures we were taking. Will definitely buy more lens and accessories.

Great photos from both lenses! Nice bag comes with. I do need to study the book that comes with it but you can put it on the big green A for automatic, sort of a default. I take sports photos so I put it on the "runner" icon. Overall, a good value. I like the white body because I believe it keeps the camera cooler when I am on the beach.

I received this as a Christmas gift and I have been like the paparazzi following my toddler around, capturing amazing pictures, even when he's on the move (which is all the time lol) I highly recommend it, super easy to use and comes with a super clear instruction manual. I was taken back by how well the camera performed from the first picture, definitely a great investment;) love this camera

Easy to use for beginner, and has features for more advanced. Coming with 2 lens's, and bag, gets a "newbie" off to a good start. Camera is easy to hold, and use.

I was looking for a DSLR that I could take great pictures with but would also be small enough and light enough to travel with. This camera meets both of these requirements.

Bought this for a Christmas present for my daughter, she wanted a camera with changeable lens so she could learn to take more professional looking shots. I would say it takes great pictures and is a good starter camera. Also a good value as a package deal with the extra lens and bag for everything.

It's a compact DSLR, with user friendly options, and even at nights the quality of photos is acceptable without flash, great deal with the kit!

This is the first camera I've had to use the manual on and that's a good thing. There are so many options and settings that I would highly recommend reading the manual to understand what they all do. I love this camera and know it will give us great pictures for years to come.

Compact, relatively small (for a DSLR) camera, with good build quality. Auto-focus is fast and optical image stabilization allows sharp pictures. Nice set of features without too many bells and whistles. Good for a beginner looking for the first DSLR.

Had an rebel eos t3 before and decided to upgrade. This is an awesome camera for beginners and for students taking a class for photography. The lenses are decent but the bag is mediocre. Enjoy the sale for it if you're looking for a new camera
