Excellent camera for first time buyer that doesn't just want a point and shoot. Extremely user friendly, with plenty of settings and modes. Allows for you to be able to learn how to use a more advanced camera. And if you don't want to use them, it takes quality pictures with the automatic settings.

Very compact and portable. It's a great camera to start with. Takes great pictures. If weight is an issue then this is a great camera to carry due to its light weight. If you are looking for more options then you would have to choose higher. The kit was a great combo to have.

I'm new to SL1 camera family, but this camera is easy to use with great automatic features. The package came with an extra extended lens. I've been trying to play with the settings, but have not learned all the functions yet. It takes beautiful pictures and has a super fast shutter speed for all sports types. Great beginning camera for sure!

Great camera and pictures, just takes a while to get used to and is a little more complicated than I expected. But otherwise I love the picture quality and everything I got for the price.

I was recommended this camera by a sales associate and it works amazing.... I have been able to learn a lot about photography using it since its not that hard to use. Plus it came with another lens so I could see the differences of how to take different pictures.
