Purchased to supplement my Cannon 50D SLR. Great zoom on this little camera. It is my go to camera when I don't feel like lugging my SLR around. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a small pocket camera that would take good quality pictures for vacations. This camera fit the description of what I wanted. I have a 12 pixels that took great pics, so this is an upgrade.

The Canon U.S. web site is not accessible, so the purchase cannot be registered, nor can the "Electronic User Instructions," cannot be downloaded. Obviously, this is a major problem. If this is not resolved soon I will return it, even though it is past the return date.

This camera was purchased to replace the same camera that stopped working while on warranty. The display went bad, but the camera still took photos. I needed it faster than the warranty process took, so I purchased the replacement. Since the previous camera was still on warranty, it was replaced, so I have a 2nd camera in the box to use when this one craps out. I have had a handful of the ELPH cameras and have had good luck with them. However, with each new generation it is obvious they are being made cheaper. They are not solid like the older ones and definitely much more fragile. I would only recommend it with the caveat that it won't last a long time.

This camera is performing well. It does everything I would expect from a point n shoot camera.

CANNOT DOWNLOAD MY PICTURES ONTO MY PC WITH OR WITHOUT THE SPECIAL WIRE CONNECTION. WIFI ALSO DOES NOT ALLOW PICTURES TO DOWNLOAD. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!! I DID DOWNLOAD CANON SOFTWARE BEFORE I STARTED BUT TO NO AVAIL.
