    This is a great camera for the price range. The best features we've discovered thus far is the rapid picture taking and incredible zoom. My husband got some amazing photos at my college graduation recently - my classmates and I were on the floor and he was in a balcony-type area.

    We needed a camera for my father so that instead of cell phone, he can make videos on handheld and this camera did the trick. Quite convenient with point and shoot feature of taking pics and making videos. Picture quality could be better but then again you get what you paid for. We only needed this for making videos so it got the job done.

    Very good resolution and good colors. Easy to use - just point and shoot. I previously owned a Canon SX610 HS. My extra batteries and charger from that cannot be used with the SX620 HS. Good/easy focus for foreground pictures. It takes some work if you want to focus on the background. Great value. Unknown longevity yet.
