A great little camera. It has 40x zoom. It I s a little larger than a "normal" point and shoot but smaller than the SX 50 which this is replacing. It takes nice video clips. The one drawback is you need to pop up the flash ( not automatic) when needed.

I am very pleased with this camera! They have come such a long way in the features offered in a camera this size. Focusing is a bit slow at higher telephoto settings, but that is a minor thing compared to overall usability.

Good quality but it has a plastic battery cover which feels cheap. Also, unlike the Powershot 190 you can't force the flash to operate which leads to darker picture when inside.

daughters husband purchase one for her and wife loved it so got her one for Christmas.

Bought this camera for my 18 year old son to use while he was overseas as a foreign service volunteer. The wifi connection directly to the canon cloud allows us to see his pictures without him having to send them via email or messages. Great feature!

I bought this before going on a European trip. I already owned a fairly good Canon camera and liked the ease of use. This one is still very similar as far as buttons but the better sensor gives better results especially in less than perfect lighting conditions.

Perfect pocket size, easy to travel with, maybe a perfect beginner camera for kids. I was disappointed with the quality of the pictures, but I have been used to a 35mm camera for many years.

Camera takes good photos and the battery lasts a long time in Eco mode, but the user interface is confusing and for the price point I’d expect a few more features or photo modes.

I use this camera everyday for work as a home inspector. Most of the time it functions perfectly, however there are times it seems to stall or take a while to take a picture. Takes great quality pictures and the higher power zoom compared to the SX610 has helped.

Bought as an adventure camera, and it was not that. 100% my fault for not doing more research, but it is a great quality camera and definitely got used

I like almost all features. Would prefer an auto flash instead of having to engage the flash.

Purchase from my daughter and she loves his camera. It does get some blurry pictures if movement is too fast. But overall for the price it’s great.

Bought this camera for use when I didn’t want to use my cell camera. I used it on our last cruise and it worked great. Battery live is long and the telephoto with the anti-shake is very clear at long distances.

I've been using the sure shot version of this camera since the days of film, so I have seen how it's gotten progressively better while maintaining the same price point. This new version has a lot of extras that make shooting a lot easier

My camera that I really liked broke (my fault, really) and I replaced it with the next model. The new one reverses the position of the buttons on the top (I'll never understand why companies do that), and with this one you have to put the flash up if it's needed--kind of dumb when the camera is supposed to be doing what's needed to ensure a good picture--the flash should automatically work if needed but have an option to not use it if you're doing something specific.
