Must get this camera. It’s so small and convenient! May be a little pricey but it’s all worth it. I love my camera. Great for vlogging

Bought it for my daughter. She likes the camera, it is easy to make adjustments and also take quick pics with 'auto' . A little on the pricey side but a decent camera.

I purchased this item few months ago and I really like it!! I went out west for vacation and getting the rivers, snow on the mountains they look really great. I was driving one day in Wyoming and saw something from a distance and took a pic and used the 40x zoom and it turned out to be a large coyote with the zoom all the way up. The only con or reason didn't give 5 stars is because I took a night pic and the pictured turned out blurry (did it couple of times).

For a point-and-shoot camera, this Canon is amazing! I bought it especially for the 4K video for a trip to the mountains, and the camera caught beautiful and clear 4K video of the waterfalls and streams. The sound is great, too, and the colors are vivid, even on the automatic setting. The photographs come out crisp and clear with vivid color, too, on the automatic setting. Most people think I have a much more sophisticated camera when they see my photographs.

The Canon PowerShot SX740 is a really good camera. I especially like the telephoto lens which takes great photos at long distance. It also has WIFI and Bluetooth features so I can send photos to my iPhone without first having to transfer the photos to my computer. I can also turn on and operate the camera remotely, which is a good feature. I have had several Canon PowerShot cameras in the past. They have ben good cameras but they didn't have the capabilities of this one.

With 2 young kids, i was looking for something I could capture all the memories and milestones with. The 4K recording is awesome and the pictures are phenomenal! The only reason i removed 1 star is because there is a delay between pics. I have read the manual and even consulted CS and its just one downside of the camera. There is a continuous shot mode, but if you are looking to capture high quality pics, there is a delay. With young kids, you may one have a brief second between a great shot and a terrible one, so for me the delay is a downside. Overall I would recommend the camera as its a pretty great camera within its pricing category.

I decided to bug a real camera because cell phones are not great. I bought a Canon because I had one years ago and it was awesome. I was shocked to find all the cool new features like WiFi and Blue Tooth plus this amazing telephoto lens! Easy to use. Great pix. Takes a bit to focus when the telephoto is extended all the way. Would be best to have it on something solid, but I captured some great photos. Be ready to snap lots of photos and willing to trash many of them, but you will get at least a couple great shots.

I bought this camera to upgrade from the SX 720. Unfortunately, they changed some things that were my favorites. The "Live" setting is gone, replaced by a "Food" setting. Really? It is similar in that you can change from cool to warm and light to dark but no vivid setting. And the changes are not saved, you have to redo every time you turn the camera on. The settings knob is on top now instead of on the back which I preferred. I like the flip screen, the long zoom and the video snapshot features. But the worst part is that I can't see the screen with my prescription polarized sunglasses!
