Have been wanting this lens for months. Now that I have it, I'm totally pleased. It works wonders with my Canon R5. One of the best things is that no one else had 'em in stock . . .not even Canon. But Best Buy said that it'd be on my doorstep in 2 days. They were right. Shipping was fantastic.

Another incredible lens for Canon’s R-series mirrorless cameras. Canon continues to innovate in their line of mirrorless lenses. Super crisp, super easy to use, super expensive, but as a professional I say super worth it. Also, even though it’s a telephoto lens, it’s surprisingly good at macro photography.

Does everything as advertised. Sharp with few artifacts. Fast, accurate autofocus (with R7). Tracks eyes, birds in flight, etc. Far less weight than you would expect. 100-500 is a great range (especially with crop sensor body). Expensive, but high quality, lens.

Awesome range and excellent sharpness. Must use higher ISO which can be corrected in processing when shooting dim environments but still very capable lens in lower light.

Amazing lens, that captures a significant amount of detail. Can't go wrong with this type of investment to capture kids in sports. The lens is very light to use without a tripod.

I was worried about the higher aperature but once i used it all my worried went away! And with the 1.6x crop you get a whole 800mm zoom! I love this lense

Having some problems with focusing. Trying different camera setting to fix it. When it focuses properly it is extremely sharp, when it doesn't its very soft and grainy. Returned the first lens because of a defect. This is the second lens. I've owned and used Canon cameras and lenses for years and this is the first problem lens I have encountered.

Lens is very sharp and has a good range but the value just wasn't there for me as the $1000 800mm f/11 is just as good for what I use it for.

This lense on Cannon R7 is great. Very sharp photos and it can be hand hold on high ISO with great images. I don't regret buying this lense at all.

Best thing that it’s weather sealed so great for outdoors. The stabilizer is great, can be used without a tripod. Clarity and sharpness are great.

Canon rf 100 to 500 is a incredible lens. Best Buy had item in stock when most vendors did not. Ordered item on Friday and received on Tuesday. Alot of people have been waiting 3 to 4 months for availability from big camera stores
