Captain Toad is a fun little neat game that requires you to solve through puzzles presented in a cubic, diorama-type layout. This game is fun to traverse just to the end, but it's even more fun when you're trying to clear all the objectives and collect all the items that are in each level.
The motion controls docked that replace the touchscreen controls of the Wii U version are a nice quick solution and I had no problems with it. Fun game and now you can play with a friend!

My son and I play this together all the time, probably the best game we’ve bought for the switch and one of the few puzzle games we can both enjoy. The characters and enemies make my son smile and laugh at every turn and the puzzles are great for him, he can solve the main quests most the time without help but getting the extras like diamonds and special goals on each level “require dad’s help”. I can’t emphasize enough how great I think this game is and how happy I am that it’s something my son and I can do together.

And is a extremely simple , fun , for all ages game. My 4 year old was stunned by this game. And just today (4/20 )on the arrival from the mail. Has already collected 27 diamonds and defeated the first boss stage all on his own. The great thing about this game. It’ll help develop his Problem solving skills. Figuring what goes where and what to do makes the brain work. And it is extremely fun. Makes gaming and Nintendo do what they do best. Make fun games.

After 30 some years toad finally gets his own game. The game is a departure from your typical Mario fair. It's a slow paced puzzle game. But very much still a Mario game.

I hesitated because I played the WiiU game a lot, but this was a great revisit and even though it’s basically an exact port (the only real difference is no touch screen to use). If you didn’t like it on the wiiU you likely wont like it on the switch. For whatever reason I love to play a few levels each night to calm down after some intense Splatoon 2 battles! I actually it 100% and got the Toad crown this time, which I didn’t on the WiiU. I’m hoping for some DLC. The bonus levels based on Mario Odyessy are brilliant and if they did more of that I’d make it a solid 5. Some people think this is a kids gane, but it’s really a unique puzzle game that can really give your brain fits (if you are a completist)

You would think that Toad havin his own game would be boring but lemme tell you now that the exact opposite happened when I played this game. Fun, challenging, and unique is what you're gonna get when you play this.
