    I thought the film was rather slow moving and would have been a better book as the characters were a little lacking. For the subject matter it should have provoked more feeling. I would probably not watch this again.

    Carol is a visually stunning film. If you have ever seen a Todd Haynes film, you will know that his films are always beautifully shot. Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara give exceptional performances and this film is a must see for serious movie lovers.
