Love this case! Leather is nice and holds cash and credit cards, as well as the phone. Easy to take photos in any orientation. Can prop up in landscape for videos. Casing that holds the phone is plastic, but does not affect the overall feel of the case (since you're always holding the leather exterior).

I bought this case for my husband and he loves the fact that the front of his phone is well protected.

The case is nice, but is quite expensive for what you get. The iPhone gets screen and body protection but without doubt, almost all of the cost is profit as the materials couldn't be more than a couple of dollars to make it.

I have been using a Wallet case for my iPhone for the past 4 years. Not looking to wait for Twelve South to release their Book Book for the latest iPhones, I was really happy to see that Best Buy was selling the Case Mate Wallet Folio in store. In addition to the Book Book for iPhone 4 and 5, I also tried the Pad & Quill's Little Pocket Book for iPhone 5. I found the P&Q case used the nicest leather but was the bulkiest of the bunch with the real wood cradle - though it probably offered the most protection. The Case Mate Case is very sleek, made of real leather and is extremely functional with 3 card pockets, an ID pocket and a cash pocket. I will take away one star for offering the lease amount of protection for the phone. All in all, I would recommend.

Wanted something with protection and something to replace my wallet and this is it.

Very high quality. I have owned the case for a couple of months now. It has held up well. When you put more than 3 cards in it, it will be slightly thicker in the middle on the card holder side, but you get that with any combo case. If you take a ton of pictures with the backside camera on the phone, this may not be the case for you, as you would have to hold the case open like a book to take a photo that way. It meets all my needs. It's a specialized case that's for sure, but if you're looking for a wallet & phone case this one is great for that purpose.
