Customers love the Snappy Ripple Grip Stand for its comfortable and secure grip, especially when recording. The build quality and surprisingly strong magnets are also highly appreciated. However, some customers feel the grip stand is too thick and large.

A mere ripple among phone grips

There are many pros and cons with this product that offset one another resulting in a pretty mediocre phone grip. Overall the build quality of the phone grip is good. The grip has a strong magnet making it feel quite secure. The material on the exterior of the surface is great and resembles a silicone. It has a desirable tacky feel without picking up tons of dust- providing good grip. A large downside of the grip is the size, thickness, and weight. Due to the thickness of the grip sliding your phone in and out of pockets becomes slightly more cumbersome. The strong magnet adds quite a bit of unnecessary weight which does not go unnoticed. These three downsides don’t provide much upside. The main upside is the phone stand function. The grip allows you to place your phone both, horizontally and vertically. However the angle of the stand is not adjustable. I found the horizontal orientation to be too upright to comfortably enjoy a show or movie. Overall, given the price point and weighing the pros and cons I would not recommend this product.

The CaseTify Snappy Ripple Grip Stand is a very nice grip and stand, although I'm still not sure how much I'll actually use it. So first of all, as with other CaseTify products I've had the pleasure of trying, the quality of this grip stand is very nice. As soon as you hold it for the first time, you'll notice just how well made it feels. The materials feel very nice and comfortable to the touch. The magnet is very strong. It kind of surprised me the first time I put it on my phone. It's also a bit difficult to get off, and also adjust once it's on the phone. Since there isn't any indicator as to what is "up" or "down", you just kind of have to rotate it once it's on the phone if you didn't happen to get it aligned right the first time. Once you've done it a few times, you can kind of align it using the logo on the back, but even that isn't aligned up and down as you would expect. It's at more of an angle. I just think they could have made aligning it just a tad bit easier. Give me a little up indicator or something. Once it's on, it works as expected. The grip pops out and is easy enough to hold between your fingers. The stand is also fairly easy to set up, and holds in place just fine. It is not adjustable however, so you only get one angle. Luckily, its a good angle, perfect for viewing the screen while the phone is on like a table or desk or something. So overall, it is actually very nice for what it is. The magnet is very strong. The grip and stand work as expected. It can be just a tad difficult to align it or adjust it once its on, but you get used to it. My only real issue now that I've had it on my phone for about a week, is I really just don't know how much I'll actually use it. I find myself just subconsciously holding my phone the way I always have instead of popping out the grip. So I don't know. I'll give it some more time, but ultimately, I may just end up taking it off. If you know you will use a product like this however, it is really quite good at what it does.

The CASETiFY Snappy Ripple Grip Stand is great accessory for my iPhone. The product comes well packaged and it’s easy to use right out of the box. It comes with instructions and illustrations on the back of the box packaging. The product has a strong magnet that grips onto the back of my phone with no problems. It works with all devices that support MagSafe. The back of the grip stand extends outward. Allowing you to slide the extension between your fingers for better grip of your phone while using it one handed. While extended outwards, you’re able to flip the back part to create a stand. You can then prop your phone up and use it in landscape or portrait mode. While in portrait mode it has a deeper angle, while landscape mode is almost upright while viewing. I wish it had more of an angle in landscape mode. I wish there was some type of marking on the back of the device so I could tell where the top of the device is while mounting it onto the back of my phone. It has the name branding on the back, but it’s situated in a way that I’m unable to tell the top because the words are at a slight angle. I wish the wording was even on both sides of the device. Other than that, it’s a good device while adds functionality to my phone.

I have a large and heavy phone with a magsafe case. The case is pretty thin but the phone is just still tough to handle. I have to crawl my fingers up the back of the phone and perform some thumb gymnastics to get to the top of the screen. I needed a better way to handle the phone and this grip seemed like a good idea. The magnet is strong enough that I can try to play yo-yo with the phone and grip does not pop off. It takes effort to remove it. Holding the phone with it attached feels comfortable. I still have to stretch to reach the edges of the phone but the grip makes it easier. I haven’t had it slip yet.
The grip is made of white rubber on the surface facing the outside, while the inside is black plastic and the magnet. There are two thin plastic strips that hold the white rubber to the magnet when you pop it out for use. The texture of the grip is soft and a tactful rubbery feel. It’s not sticky and feels almost like composite basketball material. Opening the grip is easy enough to pop open with one hand. The grip is thin while closed. It raises the phones off a flat surface just enough to allow you to slide the tips of your fingers under the phone and make it easier to pick up the device off said flat surface. Though not thick enough to make your phone a tettertotter.
You can use the grip to stand in vertical and horizontal orientations. In vertical mode…it works is about the best I can say. It’s wobbly and when the grip “locks” into position it stands in an awkward angle. The horizontal position is more stable but also stuck at one steep angled tilt. Those are the only two positions available, while still okay for casual watching. Neither angle is ideal for video calls or prolonged watching.
In spite of the grip being great at propping your phone up and advertised price, I’m still happy with it. It feels nice and the super white color and texture make it go well with my phone and case. I recommend the CASETiFY - Snappy Ripple Grip Stand in white.

Although not a really necessary accessory, these snap rings are really great to have. With that being said...I always like to use one because they really are a great accessory to have. This is especially true if you have a case with no kickstand of any sort.
I enjoy watching YouTube and browsing through social media while I eat. The CASETiFY - Snappy Ripple Grip Stand comes in clutch when I want to watch something now. I used to use a separate phone stand whenever I wanted to watch something on my phone. This little snap ring has definitely been a great addition to my CASETiFY MagSafe case.
The magnet hold the CASETiFY - Snappy Ripple Grip Stand strong onto my case. Even while intentionally wiggling the phone up and down to test its strength, the CASETiFY - Snappy Ripple Grip Stand holds strong. So, I definitely trust the CASETiFY ring when watching something on my phone while in bed.
Another great plus is that I can pop it off and place my phone on my car mount so easily. I just pop it back on afterwards and go about my day. The CASETiFY - Snappy Ripple Grip Stand feels comfortable around my fingers.
My only concern is the durability of the flaps. Hopefully they hold up for a good while.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the CASETiFY - Snappy Ripple Grip Stand.

Ive been spending some time with the Castify ripple grip. I have a iPhone 16 Pro Max and it’s a pretty big phone. So sometimes I need help holding it and this also helps with holding up on my desk to let me watch a video. Out of the box it looks nice it has a soft rubber on the outer ripple area. When attaching it, immediately it is evident on how strong the magnet is. It attached with no issues and was a very strong hold. Like I was shocked how strong it was. The grip itself imma be honest it kind of interesting as it is off center and makes it kinda ackward when you want it to be center like other brands. It uses two strap like bands to achieve the ability to get a 45 or 90 degree angle to use at a stand for the phone. That creates the weird grip. The gap in-between the straps is too small for my finger to fit through. (I don’t think that’s what it’s for) It makes it not symmetrical so you have to rotate the strong magnet on your phone to get a grip that feels ackward because it’s not center. But that being said it is solid and nice but I’m just a person that wants it centered.

This little ring couldn’t of come at a better time for me. I just used it on my trip to Japan and it came really handy for the airplane and bullet train rides.
Personally, I like to rock my phone without a case or with a very slim case, and so I usually don’t have a little kickstand that I can use, but I also don’t want to always keep a grip stand there 24/7 just when I need it, and so this one was perfect for my needs.
Overall, the quality built is as expected from Casetify, feels and looks super durable. I would recommend it to a friend no doubt.
That said, here are a couple of things that I would of liked to be different and I would of have given it a 5 stars. For someone who wants to keep it on their phone all the time, it probably would not work. It’s too big for this. It’s strong enough but definitely too big for my liking. The white color looks okay for my black case and there seems to not be a black option so far, so keep this in mind too. Over time it may also not look as white.

The advantage of having Magsafe on your phone is that you can add different types of accessories to your iPhone, such as a grip stand in this case. This type of accessory is easy to add and remove at any time, improving the user experience of your phone.
With this grip stand —compatible with Magsafe— you can better maneuver your phone with one hand. You can also place your iPhone in portrait or landscape mode at 45 and 90 degrees to allow for a better viewing angle without having to hold the phone with one or both hands. It is worth mentioning that the magnets that connect to the phone's Magsafe are strong enough to help maintain stability in its multiple uses. The design is very attractive and made of durable, high-quality materials.
If you are looking for comfort when using your iPhone, I believe this is a product that, in addition to being suitable for everyday use, is easy to install, has a nice design, and has an affordable price, making it a recommended Magsafe accessory that you cant miss.

This is exactly as it looks. Snaps on via MagSafe and allows a more secure hold on the phone. Also doubles as an impromptu stand. Feels durable and compatible with a number of phones from Apple and Google pixel 10. The hold is durable and feels secure. Doesn’t feel loose or wobbly. I’m not sure really how to review this at 1000 characters. It does a phenomenal job of the task it was designed to do. It’s not cheap, no cartoony character logos or anything. Snaps on and pulls off with a gentle tug. Totally reusable unlike the cheap sticky kinds. Works with cases or just the bare phone. Doesn’t impact the WiFi or cellular reception at all. Slim when collapsed so it still fits it a pants pocket or jacket easily without unnecessary bulging. Pops up and collapses easily without any issue. My wife likes to steal it off of my phone for hers so she can scroll Facebook and TikTok more comfortably. I’ll have to get her one of her own. Overall it’s a really good product that works exactly as it implies.

What I like:
• The build is solid, the ring/stand mechanism is sound, and holds up when I am propping my phone on a desk or table.
• The design aesthetic is sharp. CASETiFY nailed the look of the “Ripple” finish that is definitly pleasing to the eye.
• As a stand, the angle is thought out enough to tilt to watch media comfortably and not to let the phone tip, fall, or flop.
What doesn’t land so well:
• The grip/stand “pop-up” mechanism is off-center when popping it up and placing your fingers underneath between it and your phone. I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max and holding a large device like this one handed and gripping the phone in this manner makes the grip feel far more uncomfortable to grasp than other hand grips that I have used.
• Because my phone is big, that off-center position makes the phone feel slightly unbalanced during one-hand use.
• It adds a bit of bulk, not excessive, but enough that you’re aware of it if you prefer slim setups.
• It’s good as a stand and grip, but the mechanism does not vanish the way certain competitors do; you always feel it.
Verdict:
If you’re carrying the iPhone 17 Pro Max and want a stylish grip/stand combo that works, the Snappy Ripple Grip Stand is a solid option. But if ergonomics and long-term hand comfort matter most, the off-center pop-up design holds it back. Other grips in the same price range do a better job staying centered and balanced in hand.
Functional and good-looking, but not the most comfortable choice for a big phone.

As the title implies, this is a good concept but it's not super well executed, hence the 3 star rating.
What it's got going for it:
Super strong magnet, it does attach really strongly to the back of my MagSafe iPhone with or without a case. I don't have to worry about it falling off with regular use, but it is easily removed when the right force is applied. It also improves the grip fairly well and it feels right in your hands when using it.
What's not so great:
One of the major functions of the grip stand is the ability to convert it into a stand for easy viewing on your phone. It advertises it works at a 45 or 90 degree angle. I found the piece that attaches the back of the grip the MagSafe part felt really flimsy. I also had a hard time getting it to work and stay in either a 45 or 90 degree angle. Since it removes the ability to wireless charge my device, I wanted its form and function to exceed that loss and needing to remove it to wirelessly charge. I think if that piece that attached the stand part to the MagSafe attachment was stronger, I could give this a better review.
I think it needs an upgrade or design change to be really worthwhile.

The Casetify Magsafe compatible grip stand has a strong magnet for use with your Magsafe compatible phone. This magnet is strong enough to grasp the phone and hold on but not slide off without you giving it some effort. The kickstand part needs some work, it requires some thought about opening it for use. Once you get it the kickstand works quite well either in landscape or portrait modes, landscape mode is a little better. This grip stand does add too much thickness to the phone and interferes with putting it in a pocket. When it is open and you are gripping it to hold the phone it does not feel sturdy in your hand. Also keep in mind that the Magsafe grip stand utilizes the same spot as your Magsafe charging and must be removed and restored for charging and other Magsafe options such as a car holder. The grip stand does not securely attach to the phone securely or other non Magsafe phone cases and must be used with a Magsafe phone case. I would not be able to recommend the Casetify Magsafe Grip stand at this time.

I must say that Casetify does an excellent job at packaging, and it feels like your opening a premium product when you’re opening the box.
I thought it was going to be too thick and get caught in my pocket, but it hasn't. I do still think it’s a bit too thick but at least it doesn't get caught. The magnets are just strong enough to make removing it easy but not too easy so that it'll fall off. The stand is sturdy, but it would be nice to have more range of lean. It’s comfortable enough in the fingers when holding it, albeit a little awkward if it's not twisted the right way. Speaking of, when changing the direction of the stand, it’s a bit hard to do when it's collapsed and feels like it could tear when it’s open. It hasn't yet and that's one of my big fidgeting things, but it just feels a little weak. I wish maybe in a version 2 that it had a way to spin so there as a fidget value to the stand. Also, the lack of colors makes it seem plain. I feel like the white will get dirty over time. If there where complimentary colors to the phone colors that would be really neat. Overall, it’s a nice grip stand and if you're ok with those few cons then I do recommend it.
