within 2 hours of purchase i returned the device, the flir camera worked well but the user interface lagged and the phone locked up on me 3 times.. overall ill stick to my stand alone ir camera.

This phone exceeded my expectations. Camera and audio are great. Love the rugged case.

This phone would not work with my carrier. It is advertised as unlocked, and I called the carrier previous to purchase to be sure it was compatible, but it was not. If you expand all the descriptions of the phone, under Waterproof, it does list which carriers can not support the phone. In addition, it did not arrive on time as promised, so was late for the gift, and then useless. Instead of giving him an awesome gift, I gave him disappointment.

Bad phone, but nice thermos imager camera, after 2 week the phone is won't boost up, i return it.

My initial impression wasn't terrible. Solid phone, reasonably fast. (Not compared to other smart phones with 3GB of RAM, however.) I noticed audio from the headphone jack was very quiet, and streaming video lagged as to where it wasn't watchable. The camera (not infrared) is garbage, never focuses properly and all photos are washed out and fuzzy. I didn't have the phone a week before it suddenly shut off and would not power back on. I hit the reset button: No luck. Customer support was in the form of a very poorly written Email, which asked me for all the same information I'd already filled out online in the support form. I had to pay return shipping to file for warranty, which took the better part of a month to return my phone to me. I opened the box to see the factory provided screen protector had been applied to my phone. Very poorly, a massive air bubble under the side, and completely misaligned with the camera. Functionality was the same as before, but at least it turned on. Until today. Phone shut off, no lights, no nothing. It lasted me a week. Customer support tried to take me for a ride again with their sub-par "repair." I just want my refund which I'll use for a product that actually WORKS. I will NEVER make another purchase from CAT again. It doesn't even deserve 1 Star, but Best Buy is apparently nicer than I am.

This phone is great. Although some reviews mention flaws causing the device to fail, I believe that these issues are more specific quality control issues that have now been worked out. The phone I have received works great. It is fast, has good battery life, and even fits in my pocket. The only potential issues I envision are that some of the openable ports might fall off, but otherwise, this phone is a tank.

The thermal camera was awesome would recommend the phone

First of all the screen is not as bad as many people were complaining. Works great with T-moble (internet too). Seems a little too big but is actually pretty comfortable to use. Overall I love it.
