Though it starts a bit slow, the documentary unexpectedly becomes quite the compelling story that has now inspired a breakout television show on MTV in its second season.

Fascinating look at what an internet relationship can turn out to be. So glad Nev and Max help others now who question if they are being "catfished".

I have been hooked on the tv show Catfish since it first aired and decided to check out the movie and was not let down at all. Online dating is becoming a huge craze in todays social media driven world, and the downfall is you dont ever actually know who you are talking to. This movie sheds light on the negative side of online dating and does it with great spirit.

This movie is one of the biggest letdowns ever. With a tagline like "Don't let anyone tell you what it is", I was expecting something half decent and wound up being disappointed.
They don't want anyone to tell you what it is, because then you won't want to see it.
Horrible "acting". I use quotes because it's suppose to be "real", which it is far from.
