Classic game on new system you can take everywhere

You've played Cave Story. It ages well. Good game!

Good game that keeps your interest even though you will die many times.

An indie favorite of many, Cave story finally makes it way to the Switch with a beautiful physical package that the original game never had before. This port of the game runs flawlessly and with true widescreen HD visuals and many remixed tracks. I believe this is the definitive version of this game! Don't miss out!

This is my first time playing this game despite being interested in purchasing the PSP version in the past. It's a great platformer with a little challenge. The graphics are simple but charming in hand held mode. I do with there was more RPG aspects to the game though. You level up your guns but getting hit by enemies levels them down, which is annoying.

Good game, came on time, included everything it should.

I had to get the first edition of this game to get the extra goodies in the case. Worth it, but it would have been nice if they were labeled as having the extras like the other games by this dev have been. (possible exception of Isaac. Some seem to have not had stickers on the outside.)

This game harkens back to the older days of games when they were simpler and fun. I played this previously on 3ds, and the switch provides a graphical upgrade, providing crisp 1080 p resolution docked and 720p in handheld. If you want to test your reflexes, try this game.

I read a lot of reviews and I was expecting a Metroid like game... Not even close...

this game is extremely fun, but can be a little bit difficult at first. the campaign takes about ten hours, but there are multiple routes to take and endings which can increase the difficulty and offer tons of replay value with secret end game stuff.

Somehow I missed this game when it came out a million years ago. My loss then is my pleasant surprise now! This is a fantastic little adventure that oozes personality. I was surprised at the old-school feeling charm of this title. Highly recommended!

Great platforming style game. But what I really loved was how this physical copy was packaged - it came with an old school type of instruction booklet, which contained some very cool artwork. Took me back to buying games as a kid.
