    Like many games in this genre, Cave Story suffers somewhat from its own difficulty. Even on an easier setting the game still remains unplayable difficult for most kids and even some adults. This game could benefit from more hints and more general accessibility.

    I had seen many good reviews for this game and decided to buy it. However I found it very simple and boring. It's only 30 bucks but I would rather put that money towards a bigger title.

    The game is mean in unnecessary ways. For example, in one area you fight a ton of guys then go through a door, which you think is safe, but a spike falls on your head.
