This is a great 2d metroidvania style game, the story is great

Cavestory still holds up and this version is no sloutch! This edition has some improvements to the original along with a manual and mini-CD soundtrack bundled in the switch game case! I LOVE manuals!

Cave Story+ is the definitive version of the this indie game, though lacking the classic graphics style for some odd reason. Either way, Cave Story is what all indie games should aspire to be. Besides the game itself, the physical version comes with a soundtrack and cute, classic manual. A must-own for fans!

A game like this is an excellent fit for the switch. It runs and looks great in both TV and handheld mode.

It's cheaper on steam, but you get all kinds of extra goodies. Such as a cd with music from the game.

I played Cave Story before on the 3DS, and didn't want to buy an 'overpriced' version on the Switch. But I decided to just go ahead. It's the exact game I remembered just better. Graphics are improved with enhanced old school charm. There are numerous soundtrack options, and all of them a pleasure. This is the definitive Cave Story.

At first I was not so sure I would like the game, the first few minutes were a bit jarring. By the time I got to the end of the game I was impressed by the overall package would give it another play through. Give it a chance if you enjoy retro styled games, recommended!

I have played every iteration of Cave Story to date and this one is one of my favorites. There has been a recent update that allows for the original graphics to be an option along with two player co-op. Fans of the game will love this, newcomers are in for a treat.

This is a great game that has been released on plenty of platforms over the years. The switch version however has some improvements in the gameplay which makes it nicer to play and if you haven't played Cave Story I would recommend this version.

This is the definitive version of the classic Cave Story. The added soundtrack options and visuals add to the gameplay in great ways. Having the game on the go and at home is perfect. Pick it up if you want a new game for your Nintendo Switch.

I purchased this game on a recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. Games had good visuals, excellent music and increasing difficulty Through progression. its a shoot em up with a rpg element. Good game to get lost in.

Cave Story is one of the best indie games i've played, so buying it for the switch was a no brainer. It was just a bonus that the game has awesome cover art, and comes with a soundtrack and classic looking instruction manual.

One the most important games for the indie scene. All made by one person, what you have here is an excellently crafted game that must be experienced. Don't let the stylish simple visuals fool you. This game has heart.

A legendary indie game. Really good metroidvania game.

Overall it seems like a great package. For some reason I just can't get into it though. We're getting a lot of retro style games on the switch, maybe Im just getting burned out after playing a lot of them. Still seems like a quality title I would recommend.

Already had (and loved) this game on the Switch, but had to buy it only for the alternative cover, the game is that easy to fall in love with. An absolute must-have, specially to have on the go.

My high school nephew has really enjoyed this game!
