Loved this game on the 3DS and definitely had to get this game on the Switch the minute it came out! Great fun story and its a great addition to anyone's video game library.

Cave Story for the Nintendo Switch is a very imaginative and charming platforming adventure game that is set to give you hours and hours good time and laughs

It's the same game that's on every system, but it's a great game. Think metroid but more guided. That being said, this version is really expensive compared to the others.

This is a fine game however even being a Best Buy gaming club member I did not think this was worth the price of admission. It was a free game apparently way back in the day and now on the Switch. It's fine at $10-$15 but not at $25 nor $30 at retail price.

Cave story went past my expectations. Its super fun and has me hooked to get all of the possible endings. Highly reccomend this game get it before it goes out of print

If you have never played Cave Story before this is the best way to do it. This game really is a classic and a must play for anyone that enjoys metroidvenia type games.

I recently starting getting back into retro/8bit games and let me just say. This game has beautiful music and is a blast to play, definitely recommend picking this up.

I love this game and having it in the Switch makes a big difference (portability specially). The included instruction booklet is a nice justification for the price

Cave Story+ is a blast! It has interesting characters, great music, awesome level design, and to top it all off fantastic gameplay! I can't recommend it enough.

I've previously played cave story on the pc and enjoyed myself. The switch version is as good as I could have hoped and I am definitely pleased with the purchase

I haven't played the previous versions, so this game is new to me and has captured my attention. One of the few games worth playing on the switch at the moment.

The game itself doesn’t take too long to finish. However, the multiple endings, loveable characters, and deep story make this game well worth the money.

Purchased this game and could not put it down. It took me back to the old 8 and 16 bit days. Really enjoyed. Would highly recommend for fans of Metroid.

Fun side scroller. Probably a good story but because of my available time, it was mostly a "pick up and play when you can" type of game for me but was still pretty fun.

This game is around 13 years old at this point, however it's never too late to play this game. It's truly a classic that deserves to be enjoyed by everyone.

I wanted to play this game for a long time since I was intrigued by the cover art. It's a good retro inspired game. The back tracking is annoying but it's to be expected.

I never played the original Cave Story on PC, so I was happy to pick up this enhanced version for my Switch. It's wonderful. Fun story and game play.

Cave Story has been around a long time, and it is on multiple systems. I think it is a great fit for the Switch because it is fairly easy to find a save point or simply put the game in suspend/sleep until you can continue. The graphics are "retro" in the same way that Shovel Knight or similar games made in the last decade use simplistic graphics and backgrounds. The gameplay is exploration focused and features a weapon upgrade mechanic similar to what you would find in classic Metroid titles. All in all, pretty great game with great boss sequences.

Great game play style taking me back. The instructional booklet is awesome with the artwork and story line. The mini CD is a nice touch as well.

I bought this for my 20 year old son's birthday and he loves it. It is a retro 80's/early 90's style 2D platformer that is challenging and fun!
