Although it's gotten a lot of flack for whatever reason, people will eventually come around and enjoy this film. Makes an interesting double-feature with Ex Machina.

I thought this movie would be a bit more kid like but was intense and a good drama. There were also funny parts worked in but at the right amount and not overdone.

Chappie is thoroughly entertaining, but lacks the luster found in Elysium and District 9. If you're a fan of both of those movies you'll probably enjoy Chappie. You can't use South African rappers with names like Yolandi and Ninja and expect to get a grade A movie.
