To be honest, everyone of them was ok. I bought this brand the first time as I like the blue LEDs lighting up when operating. I boiled water several times a day. That might be the reason why I replaced them more often than most people. There's one thing I'd like to share with everyone. Don't use water straight from the faucet. Buy a Brita filter and use filtered water only. You'll never see mineral deposits at the bottom. If you do this you can use your kettle for months without having to clean it with vinegar after a few uses.

I love this tea pot

The water gets hot in about a minute and stays hot for about 10-15 minutes. There is a pretty blue light that comes on when it is boiling. Overall it adds to the look of the kitchen and is very reliable.
