The design of this kettle is great and the detachable base makes it easy to pour without the hassle of tracking a cord. Everything is solid and it feels well built. However, I would warn that the cord is a bit short. This is nice if you don't want a lot of cord in the way of stuff on your counter, but if you don't have an outlet nearby, you may need to use an extension of some sort.

Great little kettle for a cuppa. Keep the kettle out of reach of little ones as it will, obviously get quite hot. Used every day for about a month with great success. Auto-shut off, good size and ease of use make it an affordable addition to your kitchen.

I love this kettle. I got tired of cleaning the tea kettle I kept on the stove and this one stays nice and clean on my countertop by my coffee maker. I like the shape, the stainless steel simplicity, the light, window for water level, and the auto shut-off. I like that there is no annoying sound that whistles or beeps. You can hear the water bubbling. Great price!

bought this for my mom for christmas, boils the water quicker than the tea kettle on the stove. highly recommend this device for anyone who drinks a lot of tea or just needs hot watch often

A little slow to boil vs other kettles I've owned, but still works well enough. No frills kettle.

The nice feature on this hot water kettle is that you do not get steam burned when pouring out water unlike other brands.

A lot of people in my office had been requesting an electric kettle as the Kuerig we have didn't produce hot enough water. I was going back and forth between this kettle or one that was a little fancier with picking the water temp. based on what kind of tea the person would be drinking. I decided to go with this version, and although not as fancy, it does a good job. No regrets and everyone in the office is happy.

It takes only a minute to warm water. My primary use is to boil water and this kettle is perfect for that.

Perfect size for the area I would use it in. Keeps water hot for a while-good for that 2nd cup of coffee or tea. Kettle is light weight and top on/off button is nice and the light at bottom of the pot is on when you turn the pot on-light goes off when water has boiled. I would recommend this kettle.,

I needed a cheap replacement for the one that broke the same day. It's really slow in getting water boiling and I miss being able to preset the desired temperature.

I bought this on a whim and am really glad I did. I use it to heat water for my morning tea. It heats quickly and the container will keep leftover water hot for quite a while - long enough for that 2nd or 3rd cup

I absolutely love this kettle. The only concern is that it does not have a whistle to alert you that the water is ready but beside that con I would recommend to others.

Boiling water on the stovetop is QUICKER than using the Chefman's 1.7 Liter Electric Kettle. Will buy another brand.

We bought this since we have hot water daily in the morning. Found the kettle to be useful and simple to use. No issues thus far.
